iPhone XR 的 R 代表什麼？

媒體採訪過庫克，最新推出的iPhone XR 里的字母「R」，意思就是regular，「常規的」意思。

你可以理解為官定的「iPhone X 平民版」……

To add to the curiosity of it all, the R doesnt mean much either. Phil Schiller, gingerly gripping a cup of coffee across from me, said the letters Apple uses never stand for something specific. But then his voice softened a little as he started to tell me about what the letters mean to him.

"I love cars and things that go fast, and R and S are both letters used to denote sport cars that are really extra special," he said with a smile. Thats not exactly the answer I was hoping for, but Im not sure what I shouldve expected from a) Apples SVP of global marketing and b) a longtime fan of Porsches and Audis.

喜歡它顏色的人說r代表rainbow

對它持消極態度的人說r就是rubbish，廉價版，辣雞，騙錢.

我更傾向於後者.

聯想之前 iPhone 5c 的 c，發布前說是cheap，但並不cheap，所以 c 應該是 color？

那麼 iPhone XR 中 R 也有可能是 color 最後一個 r，畢竟 XR 身上或多或少也有 5c 的影子。
