（詩歌渣翻）仙鄉Fairy-Land

今晚閑暇之餘，翻譯了一首詩文，大意應該是沒錯的，不過文風迥異，不必介意……

Dim vales, and shadowy floods,

昏谷脈潛流（迷濛溪谷，飄渺長流）

And cloudy-looking woods ;

雲靄闔林扉（煙雲織繪林野）

Whose forms we cant discover

遠目盡渺渺（舉目渺然）

For the tears that drip all over ;

漫天淚離紛（只因漫天飄雨落淚）

Huge moons there wax and wane—

皓月盈愈虧（那有巨月盈虧——）

Again, again, again—

周復無始終（盈虧，消長，明晦）

Every moment of the night,

夜夜當此時（夜夜時時刻刻）

For ever changing places ;

陰晴無常象（變化陰晴圓缺）

And they put out the star-light

幽息冷星燭（他們黯淡了星輝）

With the breath from their pale faces.

雪容吐蘭芳（以蒼顏微息）

About twelve by the moon-dial,

月相十有二（十二月輪）

One more filmy than the rest

其一浮朦朧（有一最是朦朧）

(A kind which, upon trial

（此月曾經驗（此月曾經考驗）

They have found to be the best)

以為眾月長（他們發現它最無暇））

Comes down—still down—and down

沉羽降輕靈（下——降——沉）

With its centre on the crown

景色隱月心（皓月中央）

Of a mountains eminence ;

窮視見危巔（有高山之巔）

While its wide circumference

銀盤溢光華（而其環周）

In easy drapery falls,

如帷覆泛周（降下帷幕）

Over hamlets, over halls,

掩崖並村莊（覆蓋村莊，覆蓋山崖）

Wherever they may be—

四方窮極盡——（覆蓋萬物）

Oer the strange woods, oer the sea.

迷森隱滄海（覆蓋異林，覆蓋滄海）

Over spirits on the wing,

藏蹤失飛魄（覆蓋飛遊魂魄）

Over every drowsy thing—

清寂籠夢眠——（覆蓋一切睡夢生靈）

And buries them up quite

靜隱失其蹤（將萬物靜靜掩入）

In a labyrinth of light ;

恍惚迷光境;（光之迷宮）

And then, how deep !—O, deep,

激蕩何其深（強盛！強盛！）

Is the passion of their sleep !

夢時情何盛！（是睡夢之欲！）

In the morning they arise,

朝暉清醒意（當他們隨朝暉而蘇醒）

And their moony covering

月披即隨歸（那披於身上的一席月光）

Is soaring in the skies,

飄靈游太虛（飛升蒼穹）

With the tempests as they toss.

盪搖作雨風（盪作雨風）

Like—almost anything,

形化成萬靈（恍作——芸芸眾生）

Or a yellow albatross.

若黃信天翁（或是黃色信天翁）

They use that moon no more

不使明月為（他們不再用那月亮）

For the same end as before—

無問向所求——（不再有那從前渴望——）

Videlicet a tent—

帳幕斂處居（以明月為帳）

Which I think extravagant :

吾思也奢縱：（我想也奢侈鋪張）

Its atomies, however,

而其微源子（而其原子）

Into a shower dissever,

裂離成傾雨（裂變陣雨）

Of which those butterflies

驟然迷蝴蝶（世上蝴蝶）

Of earth, who seek the skies,

問天墜泥濁（尋覓天空，墜入泥中）

And so come down again,

升降重落跌（升落如此）

(Never contented things !)

（欲求永不盡）（永不休止！）

Have brought a specimen

歸攜有樣標（卻已攜回標本）

Upon their quivering wings.
