著名女高音弗萊明發行新專輯《百老匯》

近日，著名女高音弗萊明（Renée Fleming）發行了新專輯《百老匯》，演唱了數首著名音樂劇選段。這是她今年4月首次登上百老匯舞台以來第一張相關專輯。

今年4月，弗萊明完成了個人音樂劇首秀《旋轉木馬》（

Carousel

），飾演女主角Nettie Fowler，該劇由《音樂之聲》詞曲作者Rodgers & Hammerstein寫於1945年。弗萊明因精彩的演唱獲得了音樂劇的奧斯卡——托尼獎的提名。

弗萊明說：「經典的音樂劇是我童年的中心，在上高中之前我演唱過兩次Eliza Doolittle（皮格馬利翁）。音樂劇的曲目非常豐富和優秀，我很高興錄製它們。」

這張專輯收錄了上世紀20年代至今不朽的音樂劇歌曲，包括The Sound of Music、The Glamorous Life、Tell Me on A Sunday、Wonderful Guy、Fable、So Big So Small等。合作者包括百老匯傳奇人物Rob Fisher、無與倫比的貝司和爵士音樂家Christian McBride、鋼琴新星Dan Tepfer,和格萊美獎製作人David Frost。
