Food

1.What kind of food do you like?

I am so addicted to spicy food. I can never resist the temptation from hot food like hot pot and hot hot hot. They never fail to make my mouth water! Besides I have a sweet tooth as well, so chocolate and ice cream are my favorite too.

2. What kind of food did you love to eat when you were little?

When I was little, I was spoiled by my parents, so I was really picky about food. I had a sweet tooth. I had candies, chocolate, and ice cream all the time. As I grew up, I』ve gradually had a healthy and balanced diet.

3.Do you like to eat alone or with friends or family?

I prefer to eat with family. Having meals together is also a good way for us to bond.

I really enjoy the precious quality time. Besides, the whole family eating together

thing is a kind of Chinese tradition. Chatting, drinking while enjoying food with our family, the closest people in the world, is a lot of fun.

Cooking

1.Do you love cooking?

Absolutely! I am a big fan of cooking. I can always get a great sense of satisfaction and achievement from the yummy dishes I cook. Believe it or not, I think cooking can help me unwind and take my mind off the stressful work.

2. Who cooks in your family?

It is my mum. I love cooking but I am normally too busy with my study/ work to have any time or energy to do it.

3. Which is the most important meal during the whole day, breakfast, lunch or dinner?

I think breakfast is the most important meal during the whole day. No one can deny that a highly nutritious breakfast can keep people vigorous for a whole morning. And it has been said that a great breakfast, a medium lunch and a modest dinner is the healthiest diet.

Music

1. Do you love listening to music?

Absolutely! I am a big fan of music. Listening to music can always weave its magic to put me in a good mood. It also can always weave its magic to give people different feelings. And people say that music speaks international languages. I think it is totally true. Say, people from different countries can all appreciate the same music.

2. Where would you prefer to listen to music, at home or in the concert hall?

I prefer to listen to music in the concert hall because I can get the incomparable audio and visual enjoyment. It is something that listening to music at home can never hold a candle to.The atmosphere is overwhelmingly amazing!

3. Do you play any instrument?

Actually, I am not a big fan of instruments. I enjoy listening to music but performing instruments is not my strong point. I did learn to play the piano for a couple of months when I was little, but I ended up quitting. I think this whole hobby thing requires music talent, which I definitely don』t have.

Films

1. Do you like seeing films?

Actually, I am a big fan of films. Whenever there is any Hollywood block buster released, I am gonna rush to the cinema and check it out. I think each film records a story and each story is different.Films enable me to experience different lives, which is the beauty of films.And the best part of it is that I always learn something that I can never learn from anywhere else.

2.What kind of films do you like watching?

I am into all kinds of films, like, romantic films, comedies, thrillers, science fiction films, and documentaries. When I feel down, I love to watch comedies because they help me get out of depression and crack me up; while when I feel frustrated or upset, I watch inspirational movies. They cheer me up and make me understand the real meaning of life and explore the richness of experiences.

3.Where would you prefer to watch films, at home or in the cinema?

I would prefer to watch films in the cinema because it offers me the most amazing audio and visual enjoyment.The sound and visual effects are brilliant. It is something that watching films at home can never hold a candle to. But watching films at home has its own advantages as well. Those films online almost cost nothing and I can watch them anytime I want. It is totally my call.

Season

1.What is the climate like in China?

It depends on which part of China we are talking about here. You know, if it is in northern part of China, four seasons are well distinguished. But if it is in the southern part of China, it is pretty warm all year round.

2.Which season do you like most? Why?

Well, summer is indeed the season I love most. When it comes to summer, I can drive to the sea and go swimming. It is always awesome lying on the beach,enjoying the fantastic sea view,hearing the sea waves lapping on the shore, feeling the sea smell and sea breeze while sipping a glass of coconut juice.Summer is my season.I love it.

Map

1.Do you often use maps?

Oh, I have to admit that I haven』t used paper maps for years,but I often use E-maps. There is a google maps app in my phone. BecauseI have really terrible memory to memorize the places, I turn to the map quite frequently.

2. Do you prefer E-maps or paper maps?

I prefer E-maps for many reasons. E-map is my preference.The first reason is that the digital map can be upgraded regularly to convey more accurate information.Besides,it has function of navigating people to the destination. Some E-maps even recommend the nearest restaurants or places for amusement. So that』s why I love it more.

3. It has been said that paper maps will disappear. What』s your opinion?

No, I don』t think so. When it comes to everyday driving, paper maps are pretty much extinct. But people still need them for planning long distance trips, or researches. From paper maps, we can see an entire layout of a city or a country. It』s more beneficial for people to have a whole view in mind. It』s much easier for us to understand the relations among districts, cities and countries.

Park

1.Do you often go to parks?

Jogging in the park near my flat almost has been part of my day-to-day existence.It feels great enjoying the view and breathing in the fresh air while jogging.Sometimes, I go out there for a walk with my parents after dinner. The sunset view is picturesque!

2. What do you usually do when you go to parks?

Actually, there are so many things I can do when I am in a park. If the weather is cool enough, I like to play badminton or go for a walk with my family. You know, it is always nice to spend some quality time with them.

3. What can you see in a park?

In any park, I can always see lots of graceful sculptures,beautiful fountains,green trees and grass. And when I go for a walk in the park, I can always see people jogging, practicing Tai Chi or dancing. Sometimes I can see kids playing badminton, hide-and-seek or flying a kite there. I think parks really play a very important role in cities, because trees in parks can breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen that people need. Besides,people like having relaxation and fun there.

1.What is your favorite color?

Black and white is always the classic match. It is the timeless chic.

2.Do you think the different colors can show the different personalities of

different people?

I think so. People who fancy warm colors like bright red, gold yellow, baby pink might be more enthusiastic, frisky and friendly.People who are addicted to cold colors like purple, green, brown or grey tend to be more serious, modest and sophisticated. Well, this is just my personal idea.Actually, it varies from person to person.

3.What colors do Chinese people love?

Red is one of the colors beloved by the Chinese people. The color red symbolizes celebration, happiness, and good things. In the celebration of the Chinese New Year, holidays and gatherings, red is a must.

Yellow was in ancient time the symbol of royal family, especially the emperor. Yellow symbolizes supreme power,the highest status and nobility.

1. Is it more important for shoes to be comfortable or good-looking?

Well, I think for shoes, comfort should be the top priority. Only when they are comfortable will we then start to consider whether it is good-looking.This is because most people will not notice your shoes but you will suffer from them all the time if they are not comfy.

2. Will you buy shoes on the Internet?

Yes. But I buy shoes online only after I have tried the exact same ones in an off-line store. Otherwise it is too much of a risk,because you never know if the shoes will fit you until you have tried them on.

3. Why do some people like to collect shoes?

For a lot of boys, they collect sneakers for investments. I guess they can make a profit by reselling them to other collectors. For some girls, they need different shoes for different occasions and to match their different clothes.

Teacher

What kind of teachers do you like best?

Well, off the top of my head, I want to say good-looking teachers. I say it for a good reason. You know, teachers who are handsome or pretty can attract students to pay more attention in class, which leads to better academic performanceI think. Another quality that I think teachers should have is a sense of humor because everybody likes those who are interesting. My middle school mathematics teacher was always able to crack us up. So most of my classmates adored his lessons.

2. Who was your favorite teacher when you were young?

It』s my English teacher when I was in middle school. She was really nice to us and never gave us too much homework. So I like her most.

3.Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

No, I don』t think so. Being a teacher is too much responsibility and I don』t suppose I would want so heavy a burden on me.So I don』t think I』m capable of being a teacher.

Yes, I think so. I have heard teachers can enjoy really long holidays. I love long holidays!

1.How do you remind yourself to be on time?

Actually I usually wear a watch. It enables me to check time anywhere anytime I want. I』m a very punctual person and I』ve always been. In order to make sure I don』t run late to a meeting or an appointment, I usually get to my destination 15 or 20 minutes earlier.

2.How do you feel when you are late?

Well, I would feel really guilty about wasting others』 time and definitely blame myself for it.And most importantly, I will apologize to my friends for being late.

3.How do you feel about those people who are always late?

Well,once or twice is quite understandable, but always would be unforgivable. I will definitely blame them for wasting my time and they will leave me an impression that they are not reliable, responsible or trustworthy.

4.Do you think punctuality is important?

Yes, of course. Being punctual does benefits to both how others see us and how we see ourselves.It is a way for us to show we are reliable. A person who can organize his time can also handle things smoothly. Besides, being punctual shows our respect to others.

1.Do you like doing sports?

I am a big sports fan. I love swimming and going to a gym to work out because they can enable me to keep in shape, build up my flexibility, strengthen my body coordination and endurance. I think doing exercise would help me to keep fit both physically and psychologically. Doing sports can always weave its magic to put me in a good mood.

2.What kinds of sports are popular in China?

It varies. It depends on the different ages. If it is for the elderly people,they love to practice Tai Chi or walk dogs at parks.If it is for the young guys, they love to do outdoor activities or go to a gym to work out.
