書海拾得 | 完形、寫作中和「心、眼、淚」有關的英語表達

筆者注意到，隨著高考寫作的形式變化，未來續寫中涉及到心裡描寫的會劇增，而心裡描寫往往又和heart, eye, tear的表達有關。其實在平時的完形和文學閱讀中也會常見它們。

和heart有關的表達

和heart搭配的形容詞很多，例如：big, good, kind, soft, tender, warm 寬宏大量的心；好心腸；善良的心地；軟心腸；慈愛的心腸；熱心腸。但我們細究起來，可以分為六大類，例如我們最常見的一句：Her heart sank,一般表示悲傷。其實還有很多和heart的表達

一、 心跳

His heart beat fast / quickly / violently / excitedly.

His heart jumped / leaped / bounded with excitement. (興奮跳動)

His heart gave a jump / thump. (猛跳)

二、 高興

His heart was filled with joy. (充滿喜悅)

His heart danced within him. (激動地跳)

His heart bounded with joy. (喜悅跳動)

His heart burned. (心在燃燒)

三、 悲傷

His heart sank. (消沉)

She wept as though her heart would break. (心碎)

His heart was suddenly stirred, and tears came to his eyes. (心感動)

四、 煩惱

His heart was strangely troubled. (心煩)

五、 痛苦

His heart was torn with anguish. (心碎)

He drank a good deal of wine to destroy the pain that was gnawing at his heart. (煩心)

He felt sick at heart. (心難受)

六、 感激

His heart was filled with gratitude.

短語with a…heart表示各種情感

With a heavy heart, she watched him go.她望著他離開，心情沉重。

He set off with a light heart.他輕鬆愉快地出發了。

和eye有關的表達

完形中經常還遇到眼睛的多樣搭配，畢竟眼睛是心靈的窗戶。大概分為：純粹地看和多情地看，同樣對寫作也有好處。

純粹表示看：

Her eyes fixed on me.（盯住我）

Her eyes leveled at me.(瞄準)

I ran my eye down the list. (掃視名單)

The child did not take his eyes from his mother. (眼光離不開)

His eyes met mine. (他的眼光碰到了我的)

She was careful to avoid my eye. (避開眼光)

I caught his eye and saw desolation. (抓住眼神)

I always had to keep my eye on the clock. (注視)

He rested his eyes on me.(目光停留)

Suddenly his eyes focused on me. (目光凝聚)

His eyes dwelt on the picture. （目光落在）

His eyes lingered on the picture. (目光停留)

His eyes moved from side to side. (兩眼掃視)

His eyes measured me for the first time. (兩眼打量)

表示情感：

His eyes burned at me.(雙眼激動看)

Her dark blue eyes smiled and twinkled at me. (充滿笑意看)

His eyes boiled with excitement. (眼睛激動跳)

Her eyes were red from weeping. (兩眼哭得通紅)

Her eyes glittered with excitement. (兩眼閃亮)

His eyes gleamed with enthusiasm. (充滿激情而微微發亮的眼)

完形中總有很多眼淚的多情表達，大概分為兩大類，也可以用在寫作中。

一、含淚：

Tears came to her eyes.淚水湧入她眼睛。

Tears rose to her eyes. 淚水湧入她眼睛。

Tears stood in ther eyes.她眼裡含著淚珠。

Tears welled up in my eyes.我眼中淚如泉湧。

Tears glistened in her eyes.淚珠在她眼中閃爍。

二、流淚：

Tears ran from his eyes.

Tears trickled down his cheeks.淚水順他面頰一滴滴流下。

Tears streamed down her cheeks.眼淚順她的面頰往下淌。

Tears poured down my cheeks.淚水順我的面頰往下淌。

Tears rolled down her cheeks. 眼淚順她的面頰往下淌。

There were tears stealing down his face.淚水慢慢地順著他的臉往下流。

I shed a few tears.我灑了幾滴眼淚。

Her words brought tears out of my eyes.他的話使我落下淚來。
