Children today are under increased educational, social and commercial pressure. What are the causes and solutions?

這個題目問的是跟孩子有關，遭遇壓力的原因：

父母考慮到未來的就業壓力，讓孩子使勁多學東西
同齡人的壓力，別的小孩都有好玩具，就我沒有的話，我很難堪啊

Currently, even children face a lot of pressure, such as educational, social and commercial pressure. This essay will examine the possible reasons for this phenomenon and solutions to tackle this issue.

To begin with, the employment issue in the future can explain why children face more pressure. It is acknowledged that childhood is an important period for children, and they should not bear too much pressure since they are still very young. However, due to the high unemployment rate in the current era, children may be forced to learn more knowledge and skills so that they can be more competitive when they grow up. As a result, the time for playing is used for learning, and children suffer more educational pressure.

In addition, children, especially poor ones, can also feel more peer pressure. For rich families, parents can spend a lot of time purchasing expensive toys for their children. For example, LEGO products are really beneficial toys for children, but they are costly. Then, when poor children see those toys shared by rich ones, they also want to have those toys, but their families may not afford the cost. Therefore, children, although they are not adults, can still feel the pressure caused by wealth gap.

Changing parents』 attitude towards wealth is really important to tackle this issue since how parents think will influence how children think. It is true that adults can feel more pressure, especially commercial pressure, in daily life, but making children feel such pressure may not be an optimal choice. What parents should do is to help their children gradually get the ability to think independently. For example, taking a trip can help children understand that there are many different lifestyles, and children should have freedom to choose any lifestyle they like, but not devote their whole life to earning money.

To sum up, children face more pressure from a lot of aspects because their parents worry about the employment issue in the future. Meanwhile, commercial pressure from peers also makes children become nervous. To solve this problem, educating parents is actually an effective method because children are influenced by parents the most.
