Describe a place where you can read and write

You should say

Where this place is;

How do know this place;

What do you do there;

And explain why you think it is a good place for reading and writing.

Sample Answer:

Well, I think a library must be an ideal place to read and write,mean not only for me, but for all people, so let me just talk about my favorite library which is actually located in the centre of my city, Dalian.

How do you know this place?

Because of its location, it makes it quite easy for me to visit that library, and I now still remember the very first time when I went there. It was one day in summer a few years ago when I had nothing to do so I called a close friend of mine to hang out but he took me to that library in the end and that s when and how I got to know that library for the first time.

What do you do there?

Since the very first time, I think I gradually became a frequent visitor because its such a cool library. Every time I go there, I could do millions of things such as reading a book for fun, writing an essay for my school work, or even hanging around when I feel bored. However, one important thing Ive been doing over these years is that I always get all sorts of reference books from time to time.

Fourth Point + Sample Answer

Explain why you think its a good place for reading and writing.

1.直接做opening-回答自己有幾個原因；

2.分別解釋說明每一個原因；

3.簡短給出結論。

Sample Answer:

Frankly speaking, I do think its a great place and I have two main reasons for that. The first reason is that it s so close to where I live, so whenever I need to borrow books or find a place to complete my assignment, it only takes me about 20 minutes to get there on foot.

The second reason is that it seems to have a wide variety of books so it never lets me down whenever I go there to read or borrow books. Plus, with its advanced software installed in their computers, it makes it much easier and quicker to find the books I need.

Anyway, its a wonderful place to read and write as I can always find peace and quiet each timeIi go there.
