第70屆美國電視學院獎」艾美獎」於美國當地時間7月12日公布提名。頒獎典禮將於9月17號舉行，有《周六夜現場》每周播報搭檔Colin Jost和Michael Che主持。
看點：
- 劇情類：去年冷飯《權力的遊戲》以22項提名領銜，但衛冕劇集《使女的故事》以20項提名緊隨其後。
- 喜劇方面，《亞特蘭大》16項提名，《了不起的麥瑟爾夫人》14項，競爭同樣激烈。
- 迷你劇/電視電影，《美國犯罪故事：刺殺范思哲》18項提名遙遙領先。
- 加拿大女版「林永健」 吳珊卓 Sandra Oh憑藉《殺死伊芙》首次入圍視後，也是首位入圍該獎項的亞裔演員。
- 剛剛完結的「神劇」《美國諜夢》成功殺回劇集提名，戲裡外「夫婦」Rhys和Russell也雙雙提名。尤其在視帝內部分票嚴重情況下，希望Rhys能爆冷！
- 演技獎雙提名單：Sterling K. Brown（劇情男主&喜劇客串），Donald Glover（喜劇男主&客串），Bill Hader（喜劇男主&客串），Jeff Daniels（迷你劇男主&男配）
槽點：
- 時隔十年再度回歸的《威爾和格蕾絲》遭遇最慘snub，劇集提了八個都未能進入大名單，主要獎項也僅獲女配提名，real慘。
- 《使女的故事》在第二季質量嚴重下滑的情況下，提名依然大幅增長，女配和女客串均同時入圍三項，尤其Kelly Jenrette的客串提名簡直查無此人。。。
- 《摩登家庭》終於徹底從主要獎項提名中消失，雖然本季質量已經回升，連續提名數量止步於8。
- 「黑媽」Viola Davis失之東隅收之桑榆，雖然狗血劇《逍遙法外》掉出視後名單，但憑藉繼續《醜聞》交叉集參與客串爭奪。
