總共，同in total

跟all together 是有區別的，這個指的是所有的人一起，同一地點或者同一時間。

maid 僕人，上次學了一個伴娘是braidsmaid.

subject做名詞、形容詞和做動詞時的發音是不一樣的，大家可以在有道查一下。這裡做動詞講，使經受、遭受，一般指不好的事情。

上次她說了一句「my father and I are sharing the task of securing a house.」這裡再說的時候用的就是「when we were house-hunting 「合理替換。他們在表達的時候很少前後總是重複的用一個短語或者單詞表達，這就是為什麼在考雅思的時候，同義詞的替換很重要。

abruptly 突然的、唐突的，同suddenly.

After all 畢竟
