首先，一組辭彙是 「打破」，分別是break, crack, crush, demolish, destroy, shatter以及smash.

break是最一般的用語，意思是經打擊或施加壓力而破碎。

Eg : Hair also gets thinner and tends to break more easily as you age.

隨著年齡的增長，頭髮會逐漸脫落，變細，易於折斷。

crack是出現了裂縫，但還沒有變成碎片。
