Preparations for the 13th Yulin International Coal and Energy & Chemical Industry Expo in Full Swing

The 13th Yulin International Coal and Energy & Chemical Industry Expo, jointly organized by a host of government and trade organizations including the Yulin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Yulin Municipal Government, Shaanxi Provincial Trade Promotion Association, Commerce Department of Shaanxi Province, Yulin City Trade Promotion Association, Yulin City Industry and Commerce Federation, Yulin Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Yulin Municipal Industry and Information Bureau, Yulin Municipal Energy Bureau, Yulin City Investment Promotion Bureau, Shaanxi Energy and Chemical Innovation Center, Yulin City Coal Chemical Industry Promotion Center and the Shaanxi Shixin Trade Exhibition Company Ltd., is slated to run from September 12 to 14. With the aim of further engaging Yulin in the building of the Silk Road Economic Belt, enhancing the level of openness to the outside world, strengthening exchange and cooperation between domestic and foreign energy fields, promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the energy industry and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities, the investment promotion campaign for the 13th Yulin International Coal Expo is now in full swing.

The 13th Yulin International Coal Expo will adopt a model characterized by "government platform, department coordination, enterprise participation and market operation". With the theme of "green, innovative, open and win-win cooperation", the exhibition will be organized with a strong orientation towards internationalization, marketization, specialization and information. The exhibition will be divided into a main showroom and a theme-based showroom. The main showroom, located within the outdoor exhibition area of the expo in the Yulin High Tech Zone, will feature an exhibition space of 30 thousand square meters and five themes (i.e., the Silk Road International Exhibition, the Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industry Exhibition, Large Energy Enterprises Exhibition, Industrial Transformation, Upgrading and High Tech Exhibition and a Wool industry and products exhibition).

Also to be held in conjunction with the 13th Yulin International Coal Exhibition are the 13th Yulin International Coal and High-end Energy & Chemical Industry Expo, Summit Forum on the Development of Chinas High-end Energy and Chemical Industry, Forum on the Development of Carbocoal in China (Yulin), 2018 China (Yulin) Internet Plus & Sharing Economy Innovation and Development Conference, Conference for Returning Yulin Entrepreneurs, 2018 China Yulin Energy and Energy Products Contract Signing and Order Placement Meeting, 4th Yulin Cashmere Industry Expo and the Outcome Promulgation Conference for the 13th Yulin International Coal and High-end Energy & Chemical Industry Expo among a slew of high-profile events.

Extended reading: the 12th Yulin International Coal Expo was successfully held in Yulin in November 2017. It was the largest in scale in terms of the number of participating companies, organizations and personnel. The 12th edition of the expo witnessed the inking of 96 sales and purchase agreements and economic and trade cooperation projects, with a total value of 37.21 billion yuan. Among them, 65 contracts on the sales and purchase of coal products were signed with a total value of 28.61 billion yuan. 16 investment-related contracts were signed during the expo with a total value of 7.69 billion yuan.
