Its use of state-of-the-art Google technology allows it to piggy-back off nearby smartphones, utilising their large power-hungry components to relay information. The concept was awarded a Red Dot design award in July 2017 for the smart concept category.

傳統GPS兒童追蹤器體積大而重，在外形設計上也有年齡限制（如嬰兒就無法佩戴）。而Ora更加小巧輕便，電量經用，可以持久續航，還可以以多種方式佩戴，適用於各個年齡層次。

BLE beacon is by vulnerable person.

Broadcasts a unique identifier signal.Companion app displays the wearers last known location to the guardian.

將BLE給被保護人帶上，它就會發送一種特殊信號。這個信號會發送到監護人的Companion APP上。APP上會顯示穿戴者，最近一段時間到過的地方。

Distess mode is activated and a modified signal broadcast.Companion app receives the distress signal and notifies the designated guardians.Nearby police officers are also notified via their Ora app.

危機模式被激活後，就會發送一個改良的信號給Companion APP，並通知監護人。附近的警察也會在他們的Ora APP上收到這個訊號。

Distress mode cant be active accidentally.It requirs two hands and a 180°twist to overcome an internal spring.

危機模式不會因為失誤而打開。因為內設有彈簧，需要兩手用力旋轉180度，才能把它擰開。
