For this, the automatically controlled air ring SmartLip SL offers an ideal solution.

For better gauge tolerances: SmartLip SL is a controlled singlelip air ring equipped with adjustment units for redistribution of the cooling air around the die. This allows thick spots to be corrected with less cooling air and thin spots with more cooling air respectively thereby improving thickness tolerances considerably.

on blown film lines: The SmartLip SL air ring is suitable for new lines as well as for retrofitting older lines. Specially adapted for a particular die it may easily be exchanged for the original air ring.

The SmartLip SL air ring is above all suitable for LDPE and LLDPE.
