本周封面選小男孩的「怒 i am angry」。疫苗問題刷屏,萬千家長憤怒又無助。連全民免費疫苗注射環節都出現假貨,喪心病狂的世界。有時候真心不怪那點點「崇洋媚外」要進口貨,每每這樣的事件讓公眾已經付不起信任啊。

Some businesses find that when new employees join them after finishing their education, they lack basic interpersonal skills such as the ability to work with their colleagues as part of a team. What do you think are the causes of this problem and what measures could be taken to solve it?(混合類,2018/7/21,2011年舊題)

大作文四大基本類中的混合類(問題解決),關鍵:

Employers are often heard complaining about how disappointing new entrants are in terms of interpersonal skills. There are two factors leading to this worrying trend and measures could be taken to address the problem.

Both individuals themselves and schools are to blame for this upsetting situation. On the individual level, many students now spend a large amount of time in front of screens, leaving little time to reach out to the outer world. Online virtual world is filled with so much thrill that students are found increasingly addicted to it, resulting in a deficiency in face to face communication skills. On the broader school level, exam-led education places high emphasis on academic achievement and low on practices. As a result, students who have newly entered in the workplace often experience difficulties in interaction with their workmates. These are the two contributing factors of declining interpersonal skills.

In light of the above causes, two tactics could be adopted. First, while in school, students should engage themselves in various extracurricular activities such as joining Student Union and societies. These activities are beneficial in diverting their attention from mobile devices and building up practical skills. Besides, schools should encourage students to integrate theories with practices. For example, group work, group presentations, internship programs could be promoted as means to train team work spirit. Such countermeasures would be effective in boosting communication skills.

In conclusion, the main responsibility for the deteriorating interpersonal skills should be taken by two parties. It would be wise for them both to make adjustments in face of the problem.(260字)
