The One With All The Resolutions
Teleplay by: Suzie Villandry
Story by: Brian BoyleTranscribed by: Eric Aasen511
羅斯想每天都做新的嘗試;
錢德要停止拿朋友開玩笑……至少堅持一星期;
瑞秋說想戒掉愛絮絮叨叨的毛病;
喬伊立志學吉他;
莫妮卡想給大家多照點合影;
5.11 The One With All The Resolutions
Joey makes it possible for Monica and Chandler to kiss at midnight on New Years, by arranging kisses between Ross and Phoebe, and Rachel and himself.
Everyone makes resolutions: Ross will do one new thing everyday;
Chandler will stop making fun of his friends... for at least a week;
Rachel wont gossip;
Joey will learn the guitar;
Monica will take more pictures of everyone together;
and Phoebe will pilot a commercial jet.
While on a date with a new girl (Elizabeth Hornswoggle) Ross new pair of leather pants is so hot and tight that he cant get them back on after taking them off to cool down in the bathroom.
He calls Joey for advice, which leads to attempts first with powder and then with lotion, which just make things worse.
Joeys guitar teacher is Phoebe, who doesnt know any actual chord names.
Rachel finds out about Monica and Chandler, and is dying to tell someone;
she tries to tell Joey but hes so tired of keeping secrets, he wont listen.
Chandler cant stand holding in(v.約束 抑制) the wisecracks(n.

Ross: Chandlers not there,huh?
Joey: That wouldve worked, but aII right, fine. Umm, do you see any—oh, Vaseline?
Ross: Ohh, I-I see lotion, I have lotion! Will that work?
lotion n.乳液
Joey: Yeah, sure, spread some of that on there.
Ross: Hold on.
(Ross proceeds to apply copious amounts of the lotion on his legs. He literally starts spraying the back of his legs with the lotion, and as he applies some to his butt he makes a happy face like he enjoyed that sensation. After using about half the bottle he again tries to pull up his pants, but at the first sign of resistance, his hand slips off of the pants and hits him in the forehead.)
