【英語習語】 plain sailing 一帆風順

我們都知道 sailing 是「航海」的意思，plain 有「平穩的」意思，按字面意思就可猜出 plain sailing 是「一帆風順」、「一切順利」的意思。 BBC 給出的解釋是： plain sailing is an expression used to describe an activity that goes well or smoothly and is easy and uncomplicated. English Club 給出的解釋是：If something is plain sailing, it"s very easy to do and there are no roblems to overcome.

例句：

1）We should always remember that life journey is by no means a plain sailing.
