給跪了！看沙特天才外交家朱拜爾儒雅「打臉」西方媒體

最近，在德國慕尼黑安全會議上，某西方記者向沙特外交大臣朱拜爾提出尖銳問題，直指極端組織ISIS與沙特、與伊斯蘭教的關係。面對這樣來勢洶洶的提問，沙特外交大臣朱拜爾顯得有理有節、不卑不亢，盡顯儒雅之風，並睿智類比、引經據典，駁得西方媒體記著啞口無言，維護了沙特和伊斯蘭教的利益，也在全世界人們的心中重塑了伊斯蘭的正面形象，撇清了與極端恐怖組織的關係。這番簡短有力的演講堪稱經典，建議大家反覆學習、甚至背誦。

Every religion has perverts and psychopaths who try to hijack it.

任何一種宗教都有墮落的人，或是精神異常的人將其綁架。

pervert：墮落者，行為變態者

ISIS is as much Islamic as the KKK is Christian. Don"t they have a cross? Don"t they do everything in the name of religion and Christ? Don"t they believe that Christ compels them to lynch and kill people of African descent? Can one really say that the KKK is a Christian organization?

「伊斯蘭國」跟伊斯蘭教的關係，就好像「3K黨」跟基督教的關係。他們不都高舉著十字架？他們的所作所為不都是仗著基督的名號？他們不都相信是基督命令他們用私刑殺害黑人？難道我們就可以說「3K黨」是基督教組織嗎？

cross：十字架

in the name of：以…的名義

compel…to…：強迫…做（某事）

lynch：對…用私刑

descent：血統

There are other groups that one can point to. There are other massacres that were committed in the name of keeping certain countries or regions, clear, of non-Christians. There are people like this also in the Jewish faith that have nothing to do with Judaism. There are people like this in the Hindu faith that have nothing to do with Hinduism. For anyone to argue that DAESH（ISIS）is Islamic is preposterous.

我們還可以指出其他這樣的組織。還有其他打著保全國家或宗教的旗號而施行的大屠殺，很明顯，這些與基督教沒半毛錢關係。猶太教也有很多這樣的人，但與猶太教毫無瓜葛。印度教也有很多這樣的人，但與印度教毫無關係。所以，有人稱「伊斯蘭國」就是伊斯蘭教，簡直就是荒唐。

In the Islamic faith the Quran（可蘭經）reveals that you have your faith and I have my faith. You are free to practice your faith and I am free to practice mine. What greater sign of tolerance and acceptance do you have than this? In the Islamic faith, it says "He who kills an innocent soul is as if he has killed all of humanity. And he who saves an innocent soul is as if he has saved all of humanity." What better example of compassion and mercy do you have than this?

在伊斯蘭教信仰中，《可蘭經》教導我們說「你有你的信仰，我有我的信仰；你可以自由地去實踐你的信仰，我也可以自由地實踐我的信仰。」還有什麼比這種包容和接納更偉大的？伊斯蘭信仰認為「錯殺一個無辜的人，如同殺眾人；拯救一個無辜的人如同拯救眾人。」還有什麼比這種憐憫和慈悲更美好的？

So if you look at what DAESH says and say "it is in the scriptures"... Doesn"t the Old Testament（聖經舊約）say "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth"? If somebody did that today, would you say that they were Christian or that they were Jewish?

所以你看到「伊斯蘭國」說的東西就認為是來自伊斯蘭經文…難道你們的聖經中沒說「以眼還眼，以牙還牙」？倘若今天有人幹了此事，你會說他是基督徒，還是猶太教徒？

I caution people, because it seems to have become almost novel, not novel, it』s become the flavor of the day to try to read things into DAESH or into Islam that are not there.

我在這裡想警告大家，因為這似乎成為了一個新鮮事兒，不，不是新鮮事兒，而是成為了時下流行的口味，去把「伊斯蘭國」和「伊斯蘭教」划上等號，但事實並不如此。

The Islamic religion and Islamic civilization was the civilization that preserved the history of Greece and Rome and passed it onto the West. Western civilization would not exist without the Islamic Arab civilization. The Islamic civilization was the civilization that connected China with Europe, so it was global.

伊斯蘭教和伊斯蘭文明保存了希臘和羅馬歷史，並將其交還給西方。如果沒有伊斯蘭阿拉伯文明，西方文明也不復存在。伊斯蘭文明還連接的中國和歐洲，所以它是世界性的。

If Islam was intolerant and DAESH represented Islam, would Islam have preserved Aristotle and Socrates and passed it onto the West? Would Islam have connected Eastern civilization with Western civilization? Of course not. I urge you, all of you, to be careful when it comes to making generalizations or accepting generalizations when they have no basis in fact. Thank you.

如果伊斯蘭是狹隘的，並且「伊斯蘭國」代表伊斯蘭教的話，那麼，伊斯蘭世界會保存亞里士多德和蘇格拉底，並將其交還給西方？伊斯蘭世界會甘願作為連接東方文明和西方文明的橋樑？當然不會。所以，我敦促大家，所有人，在下結論的時候或者聽取沒有事實根據的結論的時候，一定要謹慎。謝謝！
