愛因斯坦給她女兒的最後一封信

1980年代末，愛因斯坦的女兒Lieserl將父親所寫的1400多封信件，捐贈給了希伯來大學。父親曾命令Lieserl，這些信件在自己死後20年內，不可以被公開。我們即將讀到的，就是天才愛因斯坦寫給女兒Lieserl的其中一封書信：

　　當我發表相對論的時候，幾乎沒有人能理解我。而我現在即將揭示的，並且要傳達給人類的信息，也是與人類對世界現有的誤解和偏見相互衝突的。

　　我要你儘可能的保管這些信件，幾年，幾十年，直到社會進步到能夠接受我下面將要解釋的內容，才公之於眾。

　　有一種極為廣大的能量，迄今為止，科學都沒有對其找到一個合理的解釋。它包含並統領所有其他的一切，而且在宇宙中所運行的一切現象背後，而我們至今未曾完全認識它。這種宇宙的能量叫做「愛」。

　　當科學家們試圖找到一個適用於一切的宇宙統一理論時，他們卻忘了這最大能的無形之力。愛是光，光照那些付出它和領受它的人；愛是萬有引力，使人們相互吸引；愛是大能，因為它讓我們所擁有的美好不斷加倍，並且使得人類不會因他們盲目的自私而滅絕；愛能掩蓋，亦能啟示。我們因愛而活著，也因愛消亡。愛就是神，神就是愛。

　　這股能量解釋了一切，也給了我們生活的意義。這是一個我們無視太久的變數，也許是因為我們害怕愛，因為這是宇宙中唯一一個人類無法隨意駕馭的能量。

　　為了讓你把「愛」看得更清楚，我用我最著名的方程式做個簡單的替代法。拿E=mc2做比方，我們同意說治癒這個世界的能量，可以通過愛乘以光速的平方來獲得。那麼我們便能得出這樣一個結論：愛是最強大的能量，因為愛無極限。

　　當人類無法運用和控制宇宙中的其他那些與我們為敵的能量之後，用另一種能量來滋養我們自己，已經迫在眉睫。

　　如果我們想要自己的物種得以存活，如果我們想要為我們的生命找到意義，如果我們想要拯救這個世界和每一個居住在其中的生靈，那麼愛，就是唯一的答案。

　　也許我們還沒有準備好製造一個愛的炸彈，一個足夠強大的裝備，以徹底消滅能夠摧毀地球的仇恨、自私和貪婪。然而，每一個人的裡面，都攜帶著微小卻大能的愛的發動機，其中的能量正等待被釋放。

　　當我們學會給與和領受這股宇宙能量的時候，親愛的Lieserl，我們不得不承認愛能戰勝一切，愛超越一切，因為愛就是生命的精髓！

　　我深感遺憾，自己沒能表達窮盡我內心深處的東西，終我一生，我的心一直在為你安靜地跳動。或許現在說抱歉已經太遲了，但時間是相對的，不是嗎？我必須告訴你，我愛你；我也必須告訴你，正是因為你，我才得出了這個終極的答案！！

　When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.

　I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.

　There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE.

　When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force. Love is Light, that enlightens those who Give and Receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For LOVE we live and die. Love is God and God is Love.

　This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will.

　To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation. If instead of E = mc2 we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits.

　After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy…

　If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer.

　Perhaps we are not yet ready to make a bomb of love, a device powerful enough to entirely destroy the hate, selfishness and greed that devastate the planet.

　However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of LOVE whose energy is waiting to be released.

　When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that Love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because Love is the quintessence of Life!

　I deeply regret not having been able to express what is in my heart, which has quietly beaten for you all my life. Maybe its too late to apologize, but as TIME is relative, I need to tell you that I love you and thanks to you I have reached the ultimate answer!!
