Julio Arozarena1965年10月23日出生在哈瓦那，1975年在古巴國立藝術學院開始舞蹈學習，1983年獲得舞蹈和舞蹈老師的文憑。同年，他加入了由Alicia Alonso執導的古巴國家芭蕾舞團。 1988年，他成為芭蕾舞團的首席舞者。 通過他的多元藝術化，他飾演了古典曲目和當代創作的所有主要角色。

Born in Havana on 23 October 1965, Julio Arozarena began his dance studies in 1975 at the Cuban National School of Art where he received the diplomas of dancer and dance teacher in 1983. That same year he integrates the National Ballet of Cuba directed by Alicia Alonso. In 1988, he became the main dancer of this company. Through his artistic plurality, he interprets all the main roles of the classical repertory and contemporary creation.

In 1988, he earned the silver medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition in Bulgaria. In 1992, he won the gold medal at the international ballet competition in Houlgate, France, and in 1993, the gold medal at the Luxembourg International Ballet Competition. From 1990 to 1993, he performed as a principal dancer at the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium. From 1993 to 1997, he became one of the main elements of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.

Since 1998, he has been actively participating in the Alps project (workshop of musical experimentation) of Patrice Moullet, in Paris. In 2002, he created the artistic project L"air de rien in Brussels. He became assistant director and ballet master at the Ballet de L"Opéra in Nice, from 2004 to 2006.

Currently, he holds the post of assistant art director and ballet master at Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
