西方商界對於上班著裝的觀念比較保守，職場里服裝不能太浮華、太張揚、太隨便、太緊或太暴露。

今天，我們就來學一下有關職業裝的英語辭彙：

對於女士而言，以下著裝款式比較常見：

Pant suit 長褲西服裝 Knee-length skirt齊膝短裙

full-length dress長裙 Blouse襯衫

High-heels高跟鞋

對於男士來說，以下著裝款式比較常見：

Cufflinks帶袖口鏈扣的男式襯衫系列 Oxfords牛津衫

Adey: Hey Don, how have you been?嗨，唐，你最近還好嗎？

Don: Fine, thanks. How have you been?還行，謝謝，你呢？

Adey: Not to bad. Busy at work, but looking forward top the weekend, and you?還不錯，就是工作忙了點，真盼著周末快來啊！你呢？

Don: Yeh, I have also been so busy that this is my first free weekend for sometime.贊同！我最近工作也很忙，這是我最近唯一的可以休息的周末。

Adey: What are you doing this Saturday?那你周六準備做啥呢？

Don: Not much.還沒啥想法呢。

Adey: Do you want to go to see a movie?想去看電影嗎？

Adey: What』s playing at the MGM in People』s Square?人民廣場的電影院最近都在上映什麼電影呢？

Don: 「Better English, Better Wife.」 It is a love story.哈哈，「更好的英語，更好的老婆。」（外教惡搞中）愛情片。

Adey: Should we go to see it?那我們去看看吧？

Don: How about 「Schindlers Fist?」 It is an action movie set in the US。「辛德勒的拳頭」（外教繼續惡搞中）怎麼樣？美國的片子。

Adey: Sorry, I have already seen it last week with my girlfriend. Why don』t we go to a concert instead?不好意思，這個片子我周末的時候已經和我的女朋友看過了。要不然我們就去聽場音樂會吧！

Don: Great idea! Who is playing in town this weekend.好主意！這周誰有表演呢？

Adey: They are a metal band from America. 是美國的一個重金屬樂隊。

Don: Brilliant. I love that type of music. What time shall we meet?太棒了。我喜歡這種類型的音樂。我們什麼時間見面？

Adey: Lets meet at 8 o』clock in the bar opposite the concert venue. The concert starts at 10, so we can have a few drinks before.那我們8點在音樂廳對面的酒吧見面。音樂會十點開始。所以我們可以先在那裡喝點飲料。

Don: O.K.. I will see you tomorrow at 8.好的，那8點見咯！

A casual workplace is often more relaxed but can open the door to terrible fashion choices. It used to be that a man could buy a handful of dark suits and ties and always look well turned-out for the office.

一個隨意的工作場所通常是無拘無束的，但是也給糟糕的流行風格提供了展示機會。男士過去常常只能靠一堆深色西裝和領帶搭配起來，在辦公室看起來體面些。

However, the advent of casual Friday has made dressing for work a new pitfall for any man』s career.

One might be tempted to fall back on the ubiquitous chino or khaki trouser to save the day, but let』s be honest and admit that wearing a great pair of jeans with a well-cut sport coat and a tie (if you must) is far more liberating and instantly more pleasing to everyone』s eyes.

有人可能打算通過斜紋土黃（卡其色）棉褲在這天保持體面又不失休閑，但是讓我們靠譜一點和容易接受點的是：仔褲，修身的運動上衣，如果有需要還可以打條領帶。這樣更加的釋放休閑感，人見人愛啊！

This look has been around for awhile, but even here, one must think a little about how to pull it off. Wearing jeans to work is not as easy as pulling on the closest pair and grabbing a blazer from your closet.

這種形像曾經被大眾接受過一陣，但你想穿著牛仔褲上班，那就得穿跟休閑褲一樣舒適的仔褲。牛仔褲得合身到不至於在你坐著的時候過松或者過緊的程度。

Dark denim is a must. A dark pair of jeans is much more professional and looks more refined with a blazer and dress shoes. If the denim is too light in color, you risk looking outdated and too casual.

深色是必須的。一條深顏色的牛仔褲看起來比淺色的要職業得多。如果配上一雙閃亮的時裝鞋，效果會更棒。如果牛仔褲的顏色太淺，你有可能有看起來嚴重過時的危險。

Think about the coat you』ll wearConsider the color and cut of the sport coat you will wear. Having a sport coat or dark blue blazer to wear with your jeans is always a must, but great jeans also need accent accessories like thick belt with a buckle that stands out.

注意你的運動上裝式樣和顏色.用運動衫或者深藍的寬鬆上衣來搭配是必須，但是好的仔褲也要加強配件裝飾。

The don』ts of wearing jeans to the office 工作場合穿牛仔褲「三千萬」

Do not wear the same jeans you would wear to a club. Jeans with intricate stitching on the rear pockets are great for nightclubs and concerts, but they have no place in the office.Any accents or stitching that highlight your anatomy is better left for the weekend.

千萬別穿你逛夜店的仔褲上班.有著各種鋒線花紋的仔褲去聽演出逛夜店實在是合適不過,但是對辦公室里來說就容不得它的出現. 這些讓你凸顯體型的花紋最好是留著周末用。

Do not wear jeans with ragged and frayed cuffs because they just make you look sloppy.

千萬別穿邊角有破損和露出毛邊的仔褲，這會讓你看起來太具藝術家氣質。

Do not wear jeans that are too tight or too baggy. You should never put you boss or clients in the awkward position of seeing too much or thinking you should pull up your pants.

千萬別穿太緊身或者太松垮的仔褲。別讓你的老闆或者客戶在你的酷褲面前處於尷尬的境地。

Jeans may have begun as utilitarian work pants for men as industrializations spread across the world, but their appeal to every man as a comfortable alternative to wool and cotton trousers as our work roles and schedules shift with the times is unmistakable. A good pair of dark jeans no longer serves as the anti-establishment statement at work. Today they form the foundation of work attire for nearly all professions.

在工業化席捲全球的時候仔褲已經成為實用性的工作裝, 但是在每天的作息時間、角色變換的人群中，它作為舒適毛料、棉褲的替代品也是好的選擇。一條好的黑色牛仔褲在工作場合也不再是非主流的表現形式. 而今，它幾乎成了所有職業裝的最低配置。
