土耳其被擊落戰機飛行路線圖

土耳其周一聲稱敘利亞軍隊再度向一架土耳其飛機開火，但未能將飛機擊落。土耳其表示不打算就此向敘利亞開戰，但會在國際法框架下做出自衛還擊。

土耳其總理埃爾多安周一在安卡拉召集內閣開會，針對上周敘利亞擊落土耳其軍機事件討論報復措施，以便周二向議會作出彙報。

長達7小時的內閣會議結束後，副總理阿林奇召開記者會，聲稱一架土耳其搜救飛機在搜索被擊落的軍機殘骸時再次遭到敘利亞軍隊開火襲擊。在土耳其外交部和軍方與敘利亞當局聯絡之後，敘軍停止開火，飛機未被擊落。

阿林奇指出根據分析，擊落土耳其軍機的導彈是熱感或激光制導的，而非雷達制導。土耳其會在周二的北約會議上力勸北約將敘利亞此舉視做對整個北約的襲擊。不過，土耳其不會為此向敘利亞開戰，但將在國際法框架下做出自衛還擊。

敘利亞外交部發言人馬克迪希周一在大馬士革舉行記者會，反駁土耳其軍機是在國際領空被擊落的說法。他說，敘利亞已經找到戰機殘骸，尾部上面的彈孔顯示戰機是防空火炮而非導彈擊落的。而防空火炮的射程只有2.5公里，根本無法打中在國際領空航行的戰機。

馬克迪希又指敘利亞對土耳其並沒有敵意，擊落來犯的外國軍機是出於自衛和捍衛國家主權。
