但如今的奧運會正在漸漸變質，散發著政治腐爛味和經濟銅臭味。奧運會正淪為政治權貴、商界巨賈玩弄陰謀的秀場。奧林匹克精神像浸泡在海底深處的沉船一樣，銹跡斑斑，散發著一股衰敗的氣息。陳一冰的「被銀牌」為上述論點提供了論據。

陳一冰的「銀牌」被理解成為北京奧運會還債，這也是坊間唯一合理的解釋。其實，在倫敦奧運會開賽前，眾人都有如此預判。因為出來混，早晚要還的。
