Task 1備考策略

托福口語簡介

托福口語一共6道題(Task 1~6)。總測試時間大約20分鐘。前兩道題是Independent Speaking Tasks 獨立口語題，後面四道題屬於Integrated Speaking Tasks 綜合口語題。這6道題具體的區別如下：

Task 1&2沒有閱讀和聽力環節，直接提問，提問之後，考生有15秒的準備時間及45秒的作答時間。

Task 3&4需要先在45秒時間內閱讀一段文字材料，然後進入聽力環節，提問之後，有30秒的準備時間及60秒的作答時間。

Task 5&6沒有閱讀環節，直接進入聽力，提問之後，有20秒的準備時間及60秒的作答時間。

Task 1 備考策略

Task 1又叫簡答題。電腦直接給出題目（如下圖）

類似的問題還有：

(TPO1) Talk about a book you have read that was important to you for some reasons.

(TPO2) Choose a place you go to often that is important to you and explain why it is important.

(TPO3) What characteristics do you think make someone a good parent?

......

應對這些問題，作答結構如下

回答問題 + 解釋原因

有了作答結構之後，就要開始思考：什麼句型可以幫助我們在面對不同話題時都能完美地按照結構進行作答？這時，作為考生的你，不要照搬牛人們的牛掰句型（有抄襲嫌疑），也不要偷懶全部照搬其他考生總結的句型（不一定適合你），你頂多只能借別人的句型參考之後，一定要根據自己的語言習慣自己去總結出順口的，方便你記憶的句型。注意，句型不是越複雜越好，而是越適合你的表達越好。我在這裡列出的都只是萬千版本中的一個例子而已，只作借鑒。

「回答問題」的句型：重述題目 + 你的答案

注意，重述題目時，不要原樣重述題目使用的辭彙，盡量用自己的話，或者變換裡面的辭彙，或者增加一些詞語來進行重述。以上面三個TPO題目為例：

The book I have read which impressed me most is Wuthering Heights. (TPO1)

The place I frequently go to which is of great importance to me is my university library. (TPO2)

A good parent should have some important characteristics such as integrity and honesty. (TPO3)

"解釋原因「句型: Ive got two reasons. The first reason is that......The second reason is that......

大家可能會覺得這個句型很簡單很弱智。NONONO！在托福口語表達里，只要滿足需要，越簡單，越順口，越不費大腦的句型才是好句型。

現在，有了作答的結構以及大家自己總結出來的句型之後，大家要做的就是把它整理在筆記本上，並背誦。

The ......is (你的答案）。Ive got two reasons. The first reason is that (第1個原因）。The second reason is that (第2個原因）。

裡面打括弧的地方就是根據話題需要考生回答的具體內容。有了結構和句型之後，你要做的下一步就是拿出TPO口語Task1的題目進行專項計時訓練。訓練自己如何在15秒時間內快速想出」答案「和兩個」原因』，並在45秒時間內把「答案」和「原因」套入到你的句型里。這裡主要考察思維能力，就是大家要自己去突破的環節了。但請相信，通過20-30題Task1的專項訓練，你一定能快速掌握Task 1的思維與作答策略。

然而，上面Task1的做題策略只適應常規題目。隨著托福試題的不斷更新，越來越多的開放題型出現了。比如。

(TPO49) One of your friends is often late for events and appointments, which makes other angry. You would like help your friend. What advice will you give your friend to help avoid this problem in the future?

(TPO48) Students study in a variety of ways. Explain how your study habits are different from those of other students you know.

遇到這樣的題目不要驚慌，熟悉掌握常規題型的作答方式之後，大家遇到這樣的開放題也可以輕鬆轉換成你可以handle的結構。

例如（TPO49) 我們還是可以使用常規的作答結構「回答問題+解釋原因」，只不過在這裡，我們回答的是具體需要我們給出的建議，我們要解釋的原因是我們提出這些建議的好處。

If one of my friend is frequently late for events, I would suggest him or her to (set an alarm or ask somebody to do things together). I ve got a couple of reasons. Firstly, once he set an alarm and has an important schedule, (he can be reminded by the alarm in order to prevent him from being late again. He can set the voice of the alarm pretty loud so that he will not forget). Secondly, if he can ask somebody to do things together rather than alone, (he might get some kind of like intangible force and there is somebody who can remind of him of doing things).

再例如(TPO48) 我們套用常規的作答結構「回答問題+解釋原因」，只不過在這裡，我們回答的是與別人與眾不同的學習方式，我們要解釋的是這樣的學習方式對我有什麼好處。

Comparing to my other classmates who dont like spending too much time on taking notes or memorizing points, the most special part of my study habits is that (I will write down detailed outlines or each subjects). The first reason is that (it helps me to have a more comprehensive understanding of a subject. Writing outlines is not as simple as it looks like. But every time after making these outlines, I can have a good memory of all the important points). Another reason is that (these outlines greatly help me in reviewing all the subjects before taking important tests and exams. By following the outlines, I can easily locate the key information and details in the textbooks, which enables my review effectively and efficiently).

See, Task1隻要大家掌握了作答結構，總結好了句型，接下來你要做的就是自己訓練快速思維和順利表達的能力了。不過別擔心，精誠所至，金石為開。一定量的集中訓練之後一定會有質的飛躍。Good luck to everyone!
