喜新厭舊

The Distracted Boyfriend meme was everywhere on the internet in 2017. Originally a Shutterstock image by Antonion Guillem, described as 「Disloyal man with his girlfriend looking at another girl," the image became a popular template to describe our fickle (三心二意的) nature and the incredible rate of new information flowing to our fingertips every second.

Twitter quickly restored the account. Duysak was working in Twitter"s customer support department as part of the Trust and Safety division, and was on his way out the door on his last day of work when he noted that someone had reported Trump"s account. As a last act, he started the deactivation, and walked out.

People scramble for shelter at the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival after apparent gun fire was heard on October 1, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shooter, Stephen Paddock, opened fire on fans attending a concert across the street from his hotel. He fired more than 1,000 bullets from the windows in a span of 10 minutes, killing 58 people and injuring another 546 before police entered his hotel room to discover him dead on the floor.
