新華網香港3月25日電（記者趙博　劉歡）香港特別行政區第四任行政長官選舉結果25日揭曉。現年57歲的梁振英獲得689張有效票，當選為香港特區第四任行政長官人選。

選舉投票於當日上午9時至11時舉行。主投票站及中央點票站設於香港會展中心。行政長官選舉委員會1132位委員以無記名方式，就梁振英、何俊仁和唐英年三名合資格候選人進行投票。12時34分，香港特區選舉管理委員會負責2012年行政長官選舉的選舉主任宣布，梁振英獲得689票，得票超過600張有效票當選。整個選舉過程在香港特區選舉管理委員會及候選人的監票代理人、公眾及媒體的監督下進行。

選舉結果宣布後，梁振英舉行記者會發表感言。他說，感激選委的信任和市民的支持，給自己在未來五年服務香港、服務市民的機會。行政長官工作非常艱巨，自己將穩中求變、迎難而上，以謙卑感恩之心，擔負起這份重大責任。他表示，相信只要大家目標一致、攜手共進，就可以將香港建設成為一個更繁榮、更進步、更公義的社會。

梁振英1954年出生於香港，1977年英國布里斯托理工學院畢業。1997年7月至2011年9月任香港特區行政會議成員，1999年7月至2011年9月任香港特區行政會議非官守成員召集人。他曾任香港特區基本法諮詢委員會執委、秘書長，港事顧問，香港特區籌委會預委會委員兼政務小組組長，香港特區籌委會副主任委員等職。2011年11月27日，梁振英正式宣布參與香港特別行政區第四任行政長官選舉。

根據《中華人民共和國香港特別行政區基本法》的規定，香港特區行政長官在當地通過選舉或協商產生，由中央人民政府任命。第四任行政長官的任期自2012年7月1日至2017年6月30日
