白宮是美國總統的官邸，當選總統會在正式就職後入主白宮，宣示著新一屆政府正式上線。

作為總統們未來幾年的家，裝修一番也不是什麼過分的要求。不過俗話說「蘿蔔白菜，各有所愛」，大家喜好不同，要求不一，所以每一次換屆，搬家、換裝都是一次全新的挑戰。

今年的1月20號，白宮的工作人員將迎來新一輪的「大戰」。

從上午10點半開始，工作人員將開始把奧巴馬一家的物品搬到等候在南草坪上的貨車上，並把特朗普一家的物品搬入白宮。「這簡直就是有組織的大混亂」，白宮首席接待員Stephen Rochon告訴CNN。

除了搬家，當天還有一項重要的活動——總統就職儀式。儀式結束後，晚上還有一場慶祝總統就職的舞會。這一天可夠工作人員忙活的了。

這哪是白宮啊，分明是「金宮」了。好多美國民眾都擔心特朗普會把總統清廉簡樸的美好形象毀於一旦。

不過，特朗普似乎並不關注白宮的裝飾，至少是不急於馬上裝點白宮。

"It"s a very special place," he said. "I"m going to be working. I"m not going to be decorating."

Obama also adapted the White House"s tennis court to allow basketball to be played on court and asked for his daughter"s bedrooms to get a "girly-type" makeover.
