簡 介英 譯 表中 國 的 天 文 學 是 獨 立 發 展 出 來 的 ， 亦 由 此 而 產 生 了 和 西 方 截 然 不 同 的 星 座 系 統 。 早 在 戰 國 時 代 ( 約 公 元 前 四 百 年 ) 或 以 前 ， 由 於 製 曆 和 占 星 上 的 需 要 ， 石 申 夫 、 甘 德 及 巫 咸 三 家 已 分 別 製 成 了 各 自 的 星 表 ， 這 三 個 星 表 再 由 三 國 時 的 陳 卓 ( 約 公 元 230 至 公 元 320 年 ) 綜 合 整 理 ， 成 為 一 個 有 283 星 官 、 1464 顆 星 的 星 表 。唐 代 學 者 王 希 明 作 《 丹 元 子 步 天 歌 》 ， 首 創 將 全 天 分 成 三 十 一 個 天 區 ， 亦 即 三 垣 二 十 八 宿 。 三 垣 是 「 紫 微 垣 」 、 「 太 微 垣 」 及 「 天 市 垣 」 。 二 十 八 宿 十 分 類 似 於 西 方 的 黃 道 十 二 宮 ， 它 們 是 黃 道 和 白 道 附 近 的 二 十 八 個 區 域 ， 為 日 月 五 星 所 經 之 處 。到 了 明 代 末 期 ， 徐 光 啟 在 編 纂 《 祟 禎 曆 書 》 時 ， 根 據 西 方 星 表 ， 加 入 中 國 所 缺 的 23 個 近 南 極 星 官 。 在 這 個 基 礎 上 ， 清 朝 戴 進 賢 及 劉 松 齡 編 修 的 《 儀 象 考 成 》 ， 對 恆 星 的 位 置 及 星 官 數 目 作 了 一 次 重 新 考 訂 及 增 減 ， 是 現 代 繪 製 中 國 古 星 圖 的 標 準 。在 這 裡 ， 若 星 官 名 稱 為 國 名 、 地 名 或 人 名 ， 皆 採 用 漢 語 拼 音 翻 譯 。要 注 意 的 是 ， 由 於 這 些 星 官 命 名 的 年 代 久 遠 ， 而 且 ， 隨 著 歷 史 的 發 展 ， 中 國 人 無 論 在 生 活 習 慣 、 用 語 、 信 仰 及 政 府 結 構 上 亦 起 了 不 少 變 化 ， 要 把 所 有 名 稱 準 確 翻 譯 十 分 困 難 。 事 實 上 ， 學 術 界 對 不 少 名 稱 背 後 的 意 義 仍 未 有 一 致 的 看 法 ， 以 下 的 翻 譯 只 是 眾 多 可 能 解 釋 之 一 。紫 微 垣 Purple Forbidden Enclosure太 微 垣 Supreme Palace Enclosure天 市 垣 Heavenly Market Enclosure二 十 八 宿 Twenty-eight Mansions 四 象Four Symbols 青 龍 ( 東 )Azure Dragon (East) 玄 武 ( 北 )Murky Warrior (North) 白虎(西)White Tiger (West) 朱雀(南)Vermilion Bird (South)二 十 八 宿Twenty-eight mansions角 Horn斗 Dipper奎Legs井 Well亢 Neck牛 Ox婁Bond鬼 Ghosts氐 Root女 Girl胃Stomach柳 Willow房 Room虛 Emptiness昴 Hairy head星 Star心 Heart危 Rooftop畢 Net張 Extended net尾 Tail室 Encampment觜 Turtle beak翼 Wings箕 Winnowing-basket壁 Wall參 Three stars軫 Chariot南 極 星 區  Southern Sky　 三 垣 Three Enclosures
