Love is not science.

I just finished reading a book, The Rosie Project, which was written by an Australian author. It is about how a male science professor tried to find his love. The professor is socially awkward and doesnt know how to befriend others. He has a fixed schedule of everything in his life. For example, he would get up at 6 AM and his kung fu course would be at 6 PM.

He wants to find the perfect woman to get married to and knows that the traditional method of blind dating doesnt work for him. So, he invites a number of women to fill out his questionnaire and tries to select the perfect woman who knows math, does not smoke, and is a good planner of life. It is a project to search for the perfect wife.

However, love cannot be discovered by a project because love is not science. One day, a woman who smokes, is terrible at math, and never plans for her life, meets this guy. They do a lot of things together. Finally, this guy gives up his schedule and plans for the woman because he starts to love her.
