我坦誠承認我翻譯造詣遠遠不及女神，這只是學術的切磋，希望大家包容：

每年的兩會，我們的總理都會有不少金句，當然張璐女神的翻譯也是讓人拍手叫好，英語君大家總結了2010-2016年間張璐的精彩翻譯，快來瞻仰吧：

2016年：

1. 老有所養不會、也絕不能是一句空話。

張璐女神：To ensure that the elderly will be provided for, cannot and will not be an empty promise.

alexcwlin: Undertaking to provide for seniors should not, and must not, be empty promises.

2. 中國奉行不結盟政策，我們之間的合作也不針對第三方。

張璐女神：China follows the principle of nonalignment, and China-Russian cooperation will not be targeted at any third party.

alexcwlin: China has always pursued a policy of non-coalition with foreign countries. However, our cooperation herein is not directed at a third party.

3. 我對兩岸關係和平發展的前景是樂觀的，我們之間的血脈是分不開的。

張璐女神：I for one feel optimistic about the future of peaceful development of cross-Straits relations. There is a strong tie between the two sides that cannot be severed.

alexcwlin: I am optimistic towards a peaceful development of relationship between the lands separated by the Strait. Our link based on common blood ancestry is inseparable.

2015年

1. 因地制宜，分城施策。

張璐女神：Differentiated policies need to be adopted in the light of local conditions.

alexcwlin: Policies should be adapted to local conditions.

2. 穿鞋要合腳，施政也要利民惠民。

張璐女神：Shoes must suit the feet, our administration must meet people?s needs and deliver well benefits.

alexcwlin: Just as shoes must befit foot sizes, policies in force must do good to people.

3. 以史為鑒、面向未來。

張璐女神：One needs to take history as mirror and at the same time look to the future.

alexcwlin: With history serving as a guide, we confront challenges in the future.

2014年

1. 把今天的墊腳石變成明天的絆腳石。

張璐女神：Let today』s stepping stone become tomorrow』s stumbling block.

alexcwlin: Turn today』s stepping stone into tomorrow』s stumbling block.

2. 相互尊重、管控分歧、互利互惠。

張璐女神：Respect each other, properly manage differences and pursue mutual benefit.

alexcwlin: We foster mutual respect, resolve nuances, and reciprocate benefits in dealing with each other.

3. 凡事不患難，但患無備。

張璐女神：But the thing we have to fear is not the difficulty itself, but lack of preparedness.

alexcwlin: Fear not the problems but the unpreparedness in handling situations.

4. 開弓哪還有回頭箭？

張璐女神：How can an arrow shot be turned back?

alexcwlin: There is no turning back once a motion is initiated.

2013年

1. 以民之所望為施政所向。

張璐女神：We will be loyal to the people and the people?s wish will point (to) the direction of government』s efforts.

alexcwlin: Government』s policies should conform to people』s wishes.

2. 居安思危，處變不驚。

張璐女神：We must be prepared for the potential adversity and handle the changing situation in a calm fashion.

alexcwlin: Be vigilant on dangers while sitting on your laurels. Stay composed in handling abrupt changes.

3. 己正，才能正人。

張璐女神：Only one is upright him or herself can he or her ask others to be upright.

alexcwlin: A pot should never call a kettle black/Dont lecture others unless you clean your own house first (Note: "Clean house" is an idiom which means wiping out corruption, inefficiencies or undesirables.).

4. 喊破嗓子不如甩開膀子。

張璐女神：Talking and talk is not as good as working and work.

alexcwlin: Action trumps talk.

2012年

1. 守職而不廢 處義而不回。

張璐女神：I will not waver and carry out my duties, and will remain true to my conviction.

alexcwlin: Stay true to duties and uphold integrity at all times.

2. 入則懇懇以盡忠，出則謙謙以自悔。

張璐女神：Goes officials should serve as loyal as they can conscientiously when they are in office and engage in modest self-reflection when their terms end.

alexcwlin: Keep all official matters confidential. Give credits to others but take blames yourself.

3. 知我罪我，其惟春秋。

張璐女神：There are people who will appreciate what I have done but there are also people who will criticize me, ultimately, history will have the final say.

alexcwlin: Stay the course in doing what you think is right regardless of what others may say.

4. 苟利國家生死以，豈因禍福避趨之。

張璐女神：In line with the conviction that I will do whatever it takes to serve my country even at the cost of my own life, regardless of fortune or misfortune to myself.

alexcwlin: Provided it is good for the country, do not shun the danger of doing something even if it means your life is at stake.

2011年

1. 骨肉之親，析而不殊。

張璐女神：Brothers, though geographically apart will always be bound by their blood ties.

alexcwlin: Distance can never do blood relationship apart.

2. 如將不盡，與古為新。

張璐女神：It is only with reform that we can ensure continuous existence and growth.

alexcwlin: It is only through continuous reform that our country could remain vibrant and spirited.

2010年

1. 行百里者半九十。

張璐女神：That is half of the people who have embarked on a one hundred mile journey may fall by the wayside.

alexcwlin: In a hundred-mile journey, the last ten miles take just as much out of you as the first ninety miles.

2. 亦余心之所向兮，雖九死其猶未悔。

張璐女神：For the ideal that I hold dear to my heart, I will not regret a thousand depth to die.

alexcwlin: In pursuing my ideals and objectives in life, I would not regret a single bit even if it means dying a thousand deaths.

3. 人或加訕，心無疵兮。

張璐女神：My conscience stays untainted in spite of rumors and slanders from the outside.

alexcwlin: I am not afraid of slanderous remarks with a clear conscience.
