注意原句的時態, I was wondering因為是之前在琢磨這件事, 所以用過去時

do you think是現在問對方怎麼想, 所以用一般現在時

it would be...if I got...這是虛擬語氣的時態

不過呢, 你看我的第二個例句就沒有嚴格遵守虛擬語氣的時態規則, 口語中的虛擬語氣if從句里的時態常常用的比較隨意

注意very long前邊不需要介詞for

注意get an advance on my salary中的介詞用on

注意這裡I口吃了幾次, 要多留意這種情況, 避免有時候你以為是別的詞, 其實只是口吃, 從而聽錯

注意這裡got a $100 advance中的a讀作了[e?], 而不是[?].

當a重讀強調的時候讀[e?], 不需要強調的話讀[?]

但有時候似乎只要你想讀[e?], 也是可以, 比如這裡並不是強調

advance=n 前進, 向前(literal)
