托福雅思長難句3：每日一句精分（一）

一個句子再難，再具有迷惑性，它還是必須具有句子的基本結構。所以分析長難句的本質就是對句子構架的分析。找准主語謂語賓語，去除修飾成分（基本做到這兩點，這個句子就一點都不神秘了）最後把其中不懂的單詞、好的短語、用法記錄下來，翻譯整個句子。但是在實際操作過程中，往往會有很多具有迷惑性的東西冒出來，這也是長難句的難點所在。所以每天保證一個長難句的練習量，多看，多練，閱讀速度和答題正確率自然就上來了。

【句子分析】

分析句子還是老方法，先去除修飾找到句子的主幹部分，在分析從句部分，最後整合句子綜合理解翻譯。

1、此句的主幹部分比較簡單，為stability of the biological clocks period is one of its major features。

2、even when引導讓步狀語從句，even when the organisms environment is subjected to considerable changes in factors。（此處要注意even when的理解，不是「甚至當…時候」，而是「即使，儘管」，引導的是讓步狀語從句）

3、插入成分，such as temperature，是對前面factor因素進行補充說明。

4、最難的句子是最後that引導的從句，很多同學能看出是一個缺主語的定語從句，但是卻難以找到先行詞所在。其實這個that引導的定語從句that would be expected to affect biological activity strongly的先行詞是插入成分前的factors，是對factors進行修飾。

把句子成分分析完之後，我們就可以按照句子成分的劃分來對小句子進行翻譯，再把每個小句子的理解按照中文的表達習慣整合在一起：

主句：stability of the biological clocks period is one of its major features.

生物鐘周期的穩定性是它的一個重要特點。

分句1：even when the organisms environment is subjected to considerable changes in factors.

即使有機體環境受到外界因素方面相當大的改變。

分句2： such as temperature.

比如溫度因素。

被認為會強烈影響生物的活動性。
