1. We live in cities and towns which have museums displaying objects of artistic, historic and cultural value, but only a few people go and visit them. Why do you think people do not visit museums in their local places? What is the importance of museums to the society?

1)人們不參觀當地博物館的原因；

1) 有些人認為博物館展品無聊；

2）人們不懂所展示的作品；

Some visitors think the artifacts are boring.
People have no idea about what they are looking just relying on the simple inscription.
Museum visitors can view thousands of masterpiece from galleried around the world on the internet.
There are some fake artifacts in some museums. Or some artifacts are ridiculous or too modern, causing terrible experience in museums.
Entry fee is pricey.

博物館的重要性：了解當地、國家歷史的重要組成；

1）博物館是城市生活的一部分，向社會開放藝術家的藝術作品和古董；

2）博物館是活的教科書，連接了過去，讓人們超越時空的限制面對面地了解過去。

3）保存歷史遺迹

1) Important part of city life, keep the artifacts and antique public.

2) Live textbook, link the past, and bring museum visitors face-to-face with the objects across time and space;

3) Conserve, protect and display the artifacts from the past; preserve history and heritages.

Competitiveness is an important quality for people in most societies. How does competitiveness affect individuals? Do you think it is positive or negative?

2) Sometimes fierce competitiveness can cause too much pressure, and it is possible that one mistake will make people lose heart.

3) Competitiveness can make people feel a sense of crisis , thus making them work harder.

第二個問題的寫作思路：首先要表明自己的觀點，給出明確回答。競爭的積極作用：

1)競爭對人的發展和社會的進步有促進作用。

2)能最大限度的激發我們的潛能，提高學習和工作的效率；

2) Competitiveness can maximally stimulate our potential and improve the efficiency of learning and work;

競爭的消極作用：

1) 產生自卑感；

2)引起過分緊張和焦慮；

2、瀕危動物不適應環境。弱者被淘汰符合進化論，人類更應關注自身文明。

Endangered animals can not adapt to the changing environment. The weak are eliminated in accordance with the theory of evolution and humans should pay more attention to our own civilization.
