The University of Alabama in Huntsville (also known as UAH) is a state-supported,

public, coeducational research university in Huntsville, Alabama, United

States. UAH is one of three members of the University of Alabama System, which

includes the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama

in Tuscaloosa. All three institutions operate independently, with only the

president of each university reporting to the Board of Trustees of the system.

U.S.nNews & World Report ranks UAH as a Tier1 national university. U.S. News & World Report for 2016 ranked UAH as tied 105th among national public universities. 院系簡介:

The College of Engineering, established as an independent College in 1981, is the largest of five Colleges on the UAH campus. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers the BS, MSE, and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the MSSE degree, and the PhD degree in the Optical Science and Engineering multidisciplinary program. The department has 20 tenured/tenure-earning faculty (2 IEEE Fellows, 1 SPIE Fellow, 1 NSF CAREER Award) with over 650 undergraduate students and about 160 graduate students. The ECE Department has research strengths in the areas of materials, signal processing and embedded systems. Huntsville: Huntsville is a city located primarily in Madison County in the Appalachian region of northern Alabama. Huntsville is the third-largest city in Alabama. The Huntsville Metropolitan Areas population was 417,593 in 2010 to become the 2nd largest in Alabama. Huntsville metros population reached 441,000 by 2014.

It grew across nearby hills north of the Tennessee River, adding textile mills, then munitions factories, NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center and the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command nearby at the Redstone Arsenal. 導師簡介：

劉建青博士 @銀鞍照白馬 2013年畢業於電子科技大學電子工程學院，2018年博士畢業於佛羅里達大學電氣與計算機工程學院。研究領域包括物聯網、無線網路中的通信、安全與隱私保護設計。在國際頂級期刊與會議（ToN, JSAC, ICDCS）發表論文10餘篇（包含1篇最佳論文獎），並多次擔任各類著名期刊與會議（TMC, TVT, ICC）審稿人及技術委員會成員（TPC member）。在2014-2017年擔任著名刊物IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology系統管理員。

全獎及其他資助細節:

博士生將享受包含學費、生活費、醫療保險、雜物費等在內的全額獎學金資助。在讀期間，支持參加各類學術會議、暑期學校等學術活動的全部旅行開銷。對在頂級刊物或者雜誌上發表學術文章的博士生給予獎勵。

對博士生的期望:

有上進心，肯吃苦，坐得住；數學基礎好，有編程功底；熟悉密碼學、隱私保護機制（如差分隱私）、凸優化、博弈論、機器學習、排隊論等（一項即可）工具；從事過網路安全、無線網路等相關領域的研究；有較好的語言表達能力。本科生申請者可放寬要求，請積極申請。
