我們用語感來分析這高深的時態

1) "had will have placed the bet"

＂當時時候的他沒有在他當時的後來投注＂

聽見had, 要有兩種感覺，第一，過去的事情，第二，這件事情在過去很重要

聽見will have，要有兩種感覺，第一，現在或即將發生的事情，第二，這件事情很重要

2) "never had have had brought the time machine"

第一個had, 過去發生的重要事情，現在已經不重要

第二個have, 過去的過去的重要事情，到過去都還很重要

第三個had，過去的過去的過去的重要事情，在過去的過去已經不重要

製片Chuck Lorre的本意很簡單

"當時之前的當時的之前的當時沒有把時光機器帶回到當時之前的當時之前的當時"

1) 1985年的主角回到1965年，改變了未來, never had brought

2) 2015年的反派回到1965年，又改變了未來, never have had brought

3) 新的1985年的主角不可能回到1965年改變未來, never had have brought

4) 所以2015年的反派不可能拿到年鑒，因此歷史根本沒有改變：Never have, never hasnt,

never had have hasnt.

【故事背景】

回到未來第二集(1989)：

2015年，Biff(畢夫)從馬提(Marty)和教授(Doc)那裡偷了運動年鑒和時光機器，回到1955年把年鑒給年輕的自己，年輕的自己在21歲生日的時候靠年鑒賭博成為巨富，改變了未來。

HOWARD: Hold one. Pause. Something doesnt make sense. Look In 2015, Biff steals the sports almanac and takes the time machine back to 1955, to give it to his younger self. But as soon as he does that, he changes the future, so the 2015 he returns to would be a different 2015, not the 2015 that Marty and Doc were in.

LEONARD: If future Biff goes back to 2015 right after he gives young Biff the almanac, he could get back to the 2015 with Marty and Doc in it. Because it wasnt until his 21st birthday that 1955

Biff placed his first bet.
