Some people believe that the newspaper is the best way to learn about news. However, others believe that learning about news through other media is more effective. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

這次的考題問的是關於報紙和其他媒體的對比~

Brainstorming部分，覺得報紙好：

1. 速度快啊，不用等審批= =

我的觀點：

1. 你要看政經類新聞，就乖乖看報紙，要是想看點花邊，那網路就挺適合的

正文部分：

Some people argue that reading newspapers is the best way for people to obtain news, but others contend that other media can provide people with news more effectively.

On one hand, people can get reliable information from newspapers. It is true that many new media, such as social websites, allow people to publish news, but a lot of news may not be authentic. By contrast, most articles on newspapers are written by professional journalists with work ethics. At least, most professional journalists may not mislead readers, but when it comes to information published by other media, readers need to be cautious about its authenticity.

On the other hand, other media have their own advantages that newspapers do not have. For example, social media have become a crucial part in daily life, and a lot of people are accustomed to using social websites to record what they see. Unlike newspapers, most social websites allow users to instantly post information, which means that viewers can get the latest information on some social websites. Therefore, new media enable users to publish and receive information more efficiently.

From my own perspective, newspapers are a trustworthy source of information, but it does not necessarily mean that other media are worse. People should choose different media based on what kind of information they want to obtain. To be more specific, when people want to learn about some political issues, reading newspapers is an optimal choice because journalists need to verify contents. However, if people just intend to see some entertainment news, such as gossip of celebrities, some online websites probably can offer them more interesting news.
