《人民的名義》（英文名：In the Name of People）正在熱播，此片的反貪劇情不但讓群眾拍手稱快，更讓大家有機會了解「省委」、「市委」，以及各種高大上的政府機構的組織架構和協作關係。就連歪果仁們都在追著呢！
不過，劇中那麼多官員，他們錯綜複雜的關係，歪果仁們能搞清嗎？
今天，小編就給大家科普一下，「省委書記」、「廳長」、「局長」這些官場名詞怎麼翻譯，它們之間又是什麼關係。

「書記」是非常有中國特色的政治稱謂，其實就是「秘書」，所以用secretary就可以了。
「漢東省委」的全稱是「中國共產黨漢東省委員會」，其實也就是「漢東省級黨委會」。
「省級」對應的英文是provincial；「黨委會」可以表達為Party Committee；那麼「漢東省委」比較標準的英文表達就是「Handong Provincial Party Committee」。
「漢東省委書記」的表達就出來了：Secretary of Handong Provincial Party Committee（注意：這是一個專有名詞，所以要大寫首字母）。
官職中的「書記」還有一個相對簡單的表達：party chief，指黨委書記。因此，「漢東省委書記」也可以稱為theHandong ProvincialParty Chief，或theParty Chief ofHandong Province。
這裡我們順便學習下secretary的相關表達。
總書記用general secretary來表示；如：

而秘書長正好倒過來，是secretary general，如：

「漢東省委副書記」比較容易翻譯，在剛才「漢東省委書記」前面加上一個「副」字就好了。
而「副」在英文中有這麼幾個詞：vice, deputy, associate。
一般來說，vice使用較廣，比如副總統（vice president）、副總理（vice premier）、副部長（vice minister）、副省長（vice governor）、副校長（vice principal）。
學術頭銜的「副職」通常用 associate，比如說：副教授（associate professor）、副研究員（associate researcher）。
而跟director、dean、secretary搭配的「副職」，通常用deputy。
根據這個規律，「漢東副省委書記」我們可以說：the Deputy Secretary of Handong Provincial Party Committee，或theDeputyParty Chief of Handong Province。
另外，育良書記還是「政法委書記」。這個「政法委」怎麼翻？
「政法委」對應的英文是Political and Legal Affairs Commission，「漢東省政法委」即the commission for political and legal affairs of the CPC Handong provincial committee。
「漢東省政法委書記」就可以說成：the head/secretary ofthe commission for political and legal affairs of the CPC Handong provincial committee。

其實「常委」就是「常務委員會」的簡稱，英語叫standing committee，這個standing不是「站立的」，而表示「固定的」意思。
「漢東省委常委」就可以說成Member of the Standing Committee of Handong Provincial Party Committee。
「京州市委書記」這個職位，套用剛才省委書記的說法，把「省級」（provincial）換成「市級」（Municipal）就可以了，全稱是：the Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee。

一般來說，副省部級及以上統稱為高級幹部，不過正廳局級實際上也被囊括在內。
國家主席、國務院總理、全國人大常委會委員長、全國政協主席及其他中央政治局常委都是正國級。
副國級的官員就更多了。
除了國家副主席、副總理等，最高法和最高檢的一把手也都屬於副國級。
此外，身為中央政治局委員的各直轄市市委書記也都屬此列。
一個省常委、政府、人大、政協的一把手都是正省部級，這就是「四套班子」。
像被稱為自治區主席、銀行行長、局長、主任的官員，也有可能是正省部級。
國務院下屬部委中，名字叫「某部」和「某總局」的單位是正部級，叫「某局」的一般是副部級。
不過叫「副部長」不一定就是副部級，國務院各部委中，有些部委的副部長也都是正部級。
在中國，市委書記很多，但是他們的級別卻不一樣，這一般是由其所在機構的行政級別決定的。
