What』s up guys! This is Chris! 今天是大年初八。Looking at my WeChat Moments (微信朋友圈), I can see that a lot of people are already back to work (又開始工作｜開工了)!

我希望大家假期過的高高興興的！I hope everyone ate a lot of dumplings (餃子) and started off the Year of the Dog on the right foot (一開始就順利)! 今天呢，我們就要看很多會說英文的朋友有可能發生的對話。

Jake: Hey, you』re back (回來了)! How was the holiday? What did you do?

Jenny: Oh, the usual (老樣子｜老規矩). I went back to (回到) my hometown (老家) to visit my family. We had a huge get-together (聚會) with like 20 relatives (親戚). What about you?
