知乎為什麼沒有英文界面？

讓不會中文的人使用知乎的時候，我發現沒有其他語言的界面對他們來說是個障礙。新浪微博和優酷也有英文，而且增加一種語言的支持也不難，知乎是不是也應該增加英語或其他語言的支持呢？
其實我是想讓別人在中國也能用主流的應用和在線社區。大多數應用，比如說新浪微博和微信，都有英文界面，會跟隨系統語言切換。但是知乎卻沒有。

我只是想推薦華裔/混血等有一點中文基礎的人看看知乎的英文答案而已，比如Brian的中美大學問題，還有其他一些問題也會有質量很高的純英文回答。甚至英文混雜簡單中文的回答。我在專欄和很多匿名回答里，涉及到中美大學和生活的地方也用了中英混雜的或者雙語答案。
沒有釣魚的意思。質疑我英語不好的可以省省了。
我最新fo的一位用戶就是我想拉進知乎的人。是混血，有一點點中文基礎。我想問問、類似於brian，可能能看懂問題，但是用英文UI是不是更習慣呢？

When I am trying to let someone who cannot read and write Chinese fluently use Zhihu, the Chinese only UI is a barrier. Since Weibo and Youku both have UI and settings in English, and technically, adding a language setting is not so difficult, should Zhihu add an Eng or any other language setting option?

So the fact is that Im trying to let someone use the popular app and online community in China. Most apps such as Weibo wechat have an Eng setting and will adjust the default language. However Zhihu do not have an Eng UI and setting.

我就不吐槽Quora在我剛註冊後，因為檢測到我用的中文瀏覽器，而一遍遍地提醒我答題要用英文了，人家推特都有中文的，Quora怎麼UI一個中文字都木有還強制要求英文答題？我推測這類網站使用主體人群太明確，准入門檻比較高，能看懂UI都是語言的基礎，知乎把UI變英文了，結果滿眼的回答都是中文，也用不起來。而如果能夠看懂中文回答，UI的那點中文也不會有理解上的問題。

Because internationalization is not a priority of an app/website like Zhihu. Unlike other social networking service provider, Zhihu is content-based and for the most part Chinese content-based only. Having an English interface would be the last thing that I consider if I were the product manager at Zhihu.

We dont need another Quora. Zhihu focuses on users with a good comprehension of Chinese, so why bother?

As a side note, Weibos English UI sucks. Did they ever do enough localization or proofreading of that crap? Id rather they had no English UI.

知識不分國界，但是乘載知識的語言分。知乎是一個中文社區，中文都不會，他無法以閱讀或者回答等方式參與這個社區。

Quora 同樣只有英文的UI界面，甚至只允許（主要）使用英文提問和回答。

個人認為知乎和 Quora 都是以用戶創造的內容為主的網站。知乎的內容基本為中文，Quroa 完全為英文。因為語言障礙而不能閱讀內容的人不是這兩者的目標用戶，所以提供多語言界面的意義貌似也不大。

想像一下，如果你完全不懂英文，那麼一個中文界面的 Quora 又於你有何用呢。

當然了，適配更多語言也不會有壞處......

If you assume the non-english content is not a barrier, how can the non-english UI be a barrier?

Plus, I dont think they can create their own english community in Zhihu, as they would in Weibo or Youku.

為什麼要中國大網站去改變，國外的人不會學好漢語，用好漢語嗎？中國人要有文化自信。

主要面相國內吧，對於國際友人，知道知乎的應該也會中文

你可以幫你的朋友寫個腳本，把主要的文字都改成英文（不過我覺得那些類似「贊同」「反對」這種中文，看多了就不需要翻譯了）
