例句：

These symptoms can be broadly characterized as 「neurotic」, and they include anxiety, phobias, obsessive symptoms, and hysterical symptoms.

詞語部分：

1、neurotic

1、 be characterized as 具有....的特徵。同類片語還包括 be featured by。這一類是極典型的動詞變名詞系列。主要原因是中文無對應動詞。

翻譯：

其他小點：

1、「They」在實際翻譯中省略，表意更凝練。不過單純從回譯角度，似乎原句成了「These symptoms can be broadly characterized as 「neurotic」, including anxiety, phobias, obsessive symptoms, and hysterical symptoms. 」
