systematic和systemic的區別

systematic和systemic這兩個詞很像,都來源於system,讀音很像,拼寫相似。其實二者的含義還是有很大不同的。systematic指按計劃有步驟地進行。我們說「science」是「systematic」,因為「science」是按照特定的系統方法來有序地整理數據和事實。比如你打掃房間,先打掃卧室,然後打掃客廳,最後打掃餐廳,這樣就可以說是「cleaning your house systematically」。
如:
- They went about their business in a systematic way.
- systematic analysis
- systematic study
- systematic approach
而systemic指與整體相關或影響到整體。尤其是在醫學上,如果醫生告訴病人得了systemic infection,則指病人的感染蔓延至全身。
如:
- systemic scleroderma
- systemic sclerosis
- systemic vasculitis
二者的英文解釋如下,區別一目了然:
- Systematic is an adjective that is used to describe something as consistent, organized and well arranged.
- Systemic means that something has or can affect the whole system.
