療效 / 有效率 / 「治療3個月後」和「治療後3個月」

「療效」的不同英文表達

一般「療效」和治療方法或藥物搭配時，往往譯成effect / efficacy，如：The efficacy of aspirin is good. （不過常說outcome of liver transplantation，類似表達值得注意。）

如果是和病人或疾病搭配，則往往用outcome，表示「結局」，如：The treatment outcome of patients was improved. 不要寫成The efficacy of patients was improved.

「有效率」怎麼表達

治療的有效率一般譯成response rate，總有效率為overall response rate，顯效率為marked response rate；盡量避免一看到有效率就用effective rate。

「治療3個月後」和「治療後3個月」

「治療3個月後」譯為：after 3 months of treatment（經過3個月的治療後）

「治療後3個月」譯為：at 3 months after treatment（治療結束後又過了3個月）

此外，相關的表達包括：

• at month 3 of treatment / in the third month of treatment（治療第3個月）
• at week 3 of treatment / in the third week of treatment（治療第3周）
• on day 3 of treatment / on the third day of treatment（治療第3日）
