定語從句

• 定語從句：在主從複合句中，用來修飾一個名詞或名詞短語的句子。
• 先行詞： 這個被用來被修飾的名詞就是先行詞
• 關係詞：
• 1.引導定語從句；
• 2.重複指代先行詞； 即： 關係詞=the +先行詞
• 3.在從句中充當一定成分；
• 關係詞在從句中充當的成分

1. 找定語從句：從關係詞到第二個動詞之前
2. 判斷關係詞在從句中充當的成分
3. 先行詞指人還是指物

• 主語、賓語：That、which、who、whom
• 定語：whose +名詞
• 狀語：when where why

狀語不是句子的核心成分，所以省略，從句仍然完整。

• 只能用which，不用that的情況
• 介詞後；介+which =when where why
• 逗號後；有逗號無that
• 限制性定語從句中，關係代詞充當賓語時，可以省略。
• The woman (whom) I met yesterday is Miss Li
• 非限制性定語從句，有逗號，起補充說明的作用。
• My brother who is a police officer lives in New York.
• My brother ,who is a police officer, lives in New York.

關係詞前無逗號，限制性定語從句。我的哥哥可能不止一個，限制、特指的是當警察的那個哥哥。

關係詞前有逗號，非限制性定語從句，補充說明我僅有的這一個哥哥是警察哦。
