In modern society, it is possible to go shopping, work and communicate via the Internet without face-to-face contact with one another. To what extent do you think this is a positive or negative development?

4.動物實驗的利弊

Some people think that it is acceptable to use animals in medical research for the benefit of human beings, while other people argue that it is wrong. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

5.大小家庭的利弊

In many countries today, people in big cities prefer to live alone or in small family units rather than large and extended family groups. Is this a positive or negative trend?

6.歷史值得去學嗎

Some people think it is important for all children to learn history in school. Others believe that other subjects are more relevant to childrens lives today. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

7.政府支付大學學費的利弊

In some countries, students pay their college or university fees, while in some others, government pays for them. Do you think the advantages that government pays the money outweigh the disadvantages?

8.如何建立完美的社會

Throughout the history people have dreamed of living in a perfect society, but people have not agreed upon what a perfect society would be like. What do you think is the most important element for building a perfect society? How can people work towards achieving an ideal society?

9.犯罪是否可以阻止

Many people are afraid to leave their homes because of their fear of crime. Some people believe that more action should be taken to prevent crime, but others feel that little can be done. What is your opinion?

10.健康的生活方式

Scientists advise people to lead a healthy lifestyle, but most people continue with unhealthy activities. Why do you think it is and what can do with it?
