導言：在"BeYourself"的警醒之後，"Solo"中的他開始清醒，雖然生活依然十分墮落。"Solo"仍以"pink"和"white"兩大主題為內容，展現出一種自我反省的"solo"情緒。大部分歌詞都寫得比較隱晦且有多層含義，但只要多往"pink"和"white"兩方面去聯想，就不難把握Frank的主要想法。

1. 此處的"Dancingwith myself"實際上是自慰的隱晦說法。

2. 此三句均與MickJagger有關。①，Jagger曾是一名不折不扣的癮君子，他和RollingStones的各位成員還曾在60年代因吸毒被捕。②，稱Jagger為「情人」，實際上是引入了另一人物DavidBowie。這兩名熱衷於男扮女裝的搖滾巨星，曾被廣泛認為有過一段情史。在Jagger脫離RollingStones單飛期間（1985年），兩人曾合作推出單曲"Dancingin the Street"，該曲當年在英國單曲榜上奪下四周冠軍，在BillboardHot 100上也殺入了前十，是85年的一首熱單。另外，Jagger的外表標誌之一即為各款華麗的夾克。
