The line graph gives information about the amounts of C02 released percapita in four European countries from 1967 to 2007.
Of the four countries, Portugal and Italy experienced increases intheir CO2 emissions. In 1967, the quantity for per person in Italy was 4.3metric tonnes, while that of Portugal was only 1.3. There were similar upwardtrends in CO2 emissions in the two countries until 2007, when the figures forItaly and Portugal reached 6.7 and 5.4 respectively. Noticeably, the CO2release per capita in Portugal was the lowest of all four countries throughoutthe period.

On the other hand, each Briton and each Swede emitted less CO2 onaverage at the end of the time period than at the beginning. The amount forBritons had remained the highest across the whole period. It started at 10.9 anddeclined steadily to 8.7. The figure for Swedes rose from 8.7 in 1967 to 10.3in 1977, but saw a drastic fall thereafter. It declined below the figure forItalians after 1990 and reached 5.4 in 2007.
In sum, each person in Portugal and Sweden had released widelydiffering amounts of CO2, but the amounts converged until they equaled in 2007.（201詞，後面有字數的分析）

針對範文，不少同學會有疑問：怎麼寫到了201詞？

事實上，大部分的雅思圖表作文，都是無法用150詞將要求的信息點寫完的。劍橋雅思中的考官範文只有極少是略多於150詞寫完的，一些範文甚至超過了220詞（劍橋雅思10 Test 2）。但是考鴨們無須緊張，因為那都是按照9分的標準來寫的。遺漏少量信息點，再犯一些辭彙、語法錯誤，結構再出一點問題，就6分了。

仔細分析了範文的同學應該會發現，本文只有存在明顯轉折的Sweden寫了2個趨勢，其他3各國家都只寫了1個趨勢。Italy和Portugal1997到2007年的變化趨勢都是接近平緩的，也都沒有提及。即便如此，一樣寫到了200詞以上。所以，建議考鴨們無論在備考還是考試的時候，都大膽地捨棄非必要信息點，以將字數控制在170詞左右。

要寫出以上文章，一個重大的難點在於信息點的順序。建議考鴨們在備考的時候，首先理清必須寫的信息點（每條線的起點、終點、總趨勢和重要轉折點，交點，最高/低的線；非總趨勢的小趨勢，另外考慮是否要寫），然後按照最簡單的時間順序來串連信息點即可。以下是範文的信息點排布圖：
