「飢餓」除了hungry，還能有什麼表達？

下午討論吃的東西真是喪心病狂，那麼「我餓了」除了Im hungry還有哪些英文表達呢？接下來一起漲姿勢吧！

1、be starving

starve作為動詞，是飢餓，餓死的意思，to be starving 表示非常餓，是口語中非常實用的表達方式，如果後面再加上 to death 則表示餓得要死啦。

一般這個短語也可以形容餓死鬼，記得高中老師就是這樣教我記滴！

舉個栗子：

①I』m starving. I really need to grab something to eat now.

我快餓死了，我真的要吃點東西了。

②Honey, is lunch ready? I』m starving to death!

親愛的，午飯好了嗎？我餓的要命啊。

2、could eat a horse（假裝都能吃下一匹馬）

字面是餓的可以把整匹馬給吃下去，當然並不是真的要吃下整匹馬，在此是形容特別餓，餓得不行，得要吃東西的意思。這個短語比上面的餓死鬼好玩兒~

①Oh man, I』m so hungry that I could eat a horse.

嘿哥兒們，我餓得不行了。

②You know what. I』m so hungry that I could eat a horse.

你造嗎？我餓得發慌了。

3、My stomach is growling.[ɡra?l]

我肚子餓得咕咕叫，得要吃東西啦。

①My stomach is growling. I gotta get something to eat.

我的肚子餓得咕咕叫，得要吃點東西了。

②My stomach is growling. I haven』t eaten all day.

我的肚子餓得咕咕叫，我一整天都沒吃東西。

4、I have a wolf in my stomach.

我胃裡有隻餓狼？不是哦，千萬不要逐字翻譯英文句子，這是說你胃空空蕩蕩的，恨不得馬上就要如狼似虎地進食了。

①I havent had anything since this morning. I have a wolf in my stomach.

打從早上開始我就啥也沒吃，我餓得不行了/ 我快餓壞了~

5、can/could eat an ox[?ks]

可以吃下一頭牛，和剛才的吃下一匹馬類似，都是比如餓得厲害，想大量吃東西。ox是英文里是公牛，和bull[b?l]一樣的意思。

①Right now I suppose he can eat an ox.

我想現在他肯定餓壞了。

②Im starving now. I gotta go and get something to eat. See you guys soon.

皮卡丘肚子餓了，得去吃東西了。

3、eat out 上館子吃、出去吃飯

Its a good idea to eat out once in a while.

隔段時間在外面吃一頓真不錯。

4、eat in 在家吃飯

Are you going to eat in or eat out?

你今天打算在家吃飯還是在飯館吃飯？

5、eat like a bird 吃得很少

She always eats like a bird in order to keep a slender figure.

女孩子們吃的很少，為的是保持苗條的身材。

6、grab a bite 隨便吃幾口墊墊肚子

Lets grab a bite before we go.
