The Fox and the Han
A fox once crept into an outhouse and looked around for something to eat. The only thing he could see was an old hen, perched high up above his head, far out of reach.
"Good evening, hen," he said politely. " I just called to see how you were. I heard that you were not well and I just had to come to see you myself. I know a little about illness, you know. Why dont you come down and let me feel your pulse. You really dont look well."
Then hen settled herself more securely on her high perch.
"You are right, fox. I am not at all well. In fact I am so ill that I can not be disturbed. I know you will understand if I dont come down just now. Im very afraid that if I do I shall catch my death!"
It is good to know who your enemies are.
