儘管近年來出現了各種數據處理、數據分析與數據可視化的一些新的工具，但是其應用範圍依然遠遠不如Excel廣，基本上這些工具能夠實現的功能，Excel都可以實現，只不過操作上可能比這些最新出來的工具稍微複雜一點點。另一個主要原因是這些新出的軟體大多需要一定的專業基礎，學習成本比較高，而且在企業應用上稍微差一些，所以很多Excel用戶依然在堅持學習並使用Excel。

對於剛入職場的大學生或者工作中經常需要使用Excel來進行數據處理、數據分析、數據可視化工作的朋友，很多苦於自身相關方面的知識較為欠缺，於是在所謂的知識付費的時代，他們花費了大量的錢去學習Excel，在我看來，這完全沒有必要。當今網路如此發達，只要你想學的東西，都可以搜到相關書籍或者教程，完全可以自己學到的。
