Sound Quality

One of the best sounding guitars I have ever played... Ranks with the top martins, and sounds better to me than most taylors. Great tone sounds sooo good. I cant say enough about this model. If you pick one up, go to guitar center and compare it with guitars costing thousands more, this one will still out preform most of them...

Reliability/Durability

As far as I can tell it is holding up excellent.. No problems yet and I have been playing it almost everyday for 2 months..

great guitar.. I have owned some very nice and expensive guitars and I rank this one above them all... Yes, above them all.. You will not be let down by the sound, look, and feel of this guitar.. My brother is a guitar player that has been on albums and live recordings, his usual guitar is a taylor 814ce.. When he came in for the holidays I let him test mine out... The verdict was the tone of the hohner was noticeably better that the 814 that he plays... Trust me this thing sounds great...

Rare figured ebony wood body, solid AA spruce top.

Made in 2003...stored in case, in box, in nice store basement for 10 YEARS.

I bought it...with tags...original cool hard case.

I replaced the unused 10-year old strings with Martin strings. Tuned her up, played for 3 minutes. Put it back in its case.

This guitar is pristine- like it was made 5 minutes ago.

Incredibly rare; I have the only one for sale in the WORLD.

Gold tuners with ebony tips, solid maple trim, beautiful soundhole inlay, newbone black nut/saddle.

Hohner told me they made 1,000 in 2003-2004; 350 or so came to the US.

This model uses a innovative bracing system inside- it makes for a massive, deep, rich sound.

And that would be nice but it also has great definition between strings. And gorgeous sustain.

I have heard solid Ms and Ts that did not sound as good as this guitar. Talk about under the radar.

Ive found one or two reviews from owners who say they cant find any other guitar that sounds this good. They are telling the truth.

I am only selling because I play more 12-string and fingerstyle OMs. If not, I would NEVER sell this guitar.

You are looking at an extraordinary instrument for an unbelieveable price. This guitar is getting very rare, since nobody dares to sell it! Hohner is much more common to find in Germany and Europe but this one made it into the U.S and has enjoyed many guitar performances! A huge upgrade was made to this guitar. I had a professionally carved bone nut and saddle custom fit for this guitar just last year giving it such an deep, rich, woody tone! The Shadow P7 pickup really brings this out! Read the reviews about this guitar, its truly phenomenal and will probably beat any guitar at this price! I just happened to sell another piece of equipment and am ready to let this one go to, to accumulate some funds. I will surely miss this one! This is a professional quality guitar that will kill the acoustic and electric (plugged in) sound of any guitar under $1500. This is a real find. Has a nice hardcase included. Hohner, Inc./HSS introduced a new Ebony Series of Acoustic and Acoustic-Electric Guitars at the Anaheim NAMM Show. Hohners Ebony Series features striped ebony back and sides, solid spruce tops, maple binding and Shadow P7 electronics on acoustic-electric models. Four models are included in the new Ebony Series, along with an optional accessory package:
