FIVE RULES FOR BETTER PRESENTATIONS (Short Form)

Rule #1: Don』t give your presentationnsoftware center stage.

Rule #2: Create a logical flow to yournpresentation.

· Ifnpeople understand where you are going to take them, they can relax and enjoynthe ride.

Rule #3: Make your presentationnreadable.

· Memorizenthis sentence.

· 30-pointntype.

· Younmust test your PPT.（Following Points）

1. Avoid paragraphs or long blocks ofntext.

2. Use an excerpt—a couple of sentences.

3. Emphasize the important words.

4. Put the text block by itself on a singlenslide.

5. Use appropriate fonts.

6. Avoid detailed reports.

7. Avoid 「title capitalization」 unlessnit』s a title.

法則#3：讓你的演講有可讀性

· 記住這句話.

· 大概30分鐘.

· 你必須先過一遍你的PPT.（以下幾點）

1 避免長篇大論.

2 使用摘錄---大概兩句話.

3 強調關鍵點.

4 把文本段落單獨放在一頁.

5 避免複雜的陳述.

6 使用合適的字體.

7 幻燈片里避免使用「標題式的字型大小」，除非它就是標題.

Rule #4: Remember, less is more.

· Fancynslide transitions and fly-ins get old quickly.

· Keepnthings simple.

· Havenall your bullets appear at once rather than one at a time.

· Avoidnsound effects.

· Andnfinally, cut down the number of slides

Rule #5: Distribute a handout.

· Distributena handout before you begin speaking.

· Distributena handout of the slides when finished with presentation.
